2012 Tracks

When working on the 2011 configuration , i found a little error in 2012.
I've uploaded this small fix ; install it when available.

The question for 2011......
On the Web site Drafi5 is the Hungaroring 2003 and Istambul 2005 without errors!!.......No debug mode!!!!!
Maybe it would have been good as a base!!!!!!!!!!!!.............?????????

I'm not an expert, it's just my idea.........

If it is hungaroring 2003 by cesc, thats my base also.
But scenery looked kinda bad and as i dont know much about scenery (almost nothing in these early years),
it was more try-and-error without really knowing what to do. The result was acceptable but had to drive it in debug mode.
Since then i always kept this configuration and updated only the jams, and reading the reactions i suppose its ok.
I will not change it at this moment, maybe you could give it a go yourself.

As for istanbul : i gonna use a reduced belini, and i think on drafi's site its not a belini-track.

Just checked drafi site : where are these tracks? or has he moved them on another site?

Track are in section Drafi5 Misc!!!!!
I think that the real could be Istambul reduced belini he works with belini jams!!!!!!!

What concerns the Hungaroring is all right if you wanted DAT without Debug Mode!!!!!
In older topic once were dealt with problems with this track and this is maybe the modified DAT!!!

uploaded 2 new tracks for the world series by renault : Silverstone and Nurburgring;
they will become available under GP3 F1 Tracks / Renault World Series.

any news on the Austin circuit?

maybe roberto can answer your question; he's making the track.

The final update for the 2012 trackpack has been uploaded.
All tracks have had some updates like pitboxes, pit tarmac, kerbs, view distances, external cameras....
I also included a few 2011 tracks that needed the same fixes; to keep the same look between both seasons.
A few jams have been modified, basically pirelli and UBS, and height of pittarmac is set to 128 instead of 130.

All tracks contain magicdata now, it might need a bit of fine tuning here and there.

I did not find all the jams of the following tracks in the update pack:

melbourne,sepang,shanghai.silverstone.

thats true, thats why its called an update.
If you have the original 2012 tracks installed (or the 2012mod), it should be working.
(just accept to overwrite the old jams)

If not, could you make a list of the jams that you think that are missing ?

Robert Lunn offered me at the start of the season to host my updates.
At a certain point he was having problems and i decided to put the rest here.
Thats the reason why its found on two sites.

The start of the 2012 season (except for austin) can still be found on grandprix3.co.uk, look at first page of the 2012 tracks topic.
Install them, and you'll have the complete season.
I'm not gonna explain for the ..th time why they are in two places.
And if I do the 2013 tracks, they will be all on this site.

If they are unavailable at that site, I can send them by mail or upload them here as well.
