Managed to sustain fist 10 or 12 before i couldn't stand it anymore...

'Battery wars' with people overtaking each other every lap seem fun at first (before they manage to get out of the battery reset/lag/gap I'd imagine), but it is artificial way to make entertainment as liberty was declaring since they acquired the sport. Their motto is 'People need entertainment, not boring competition or true sport' and this year i dont see myself watching this anymore. Thankfully i have some gp4 ai championships to follow on youtube (ff1m is the most delivering by far, highly reccomend), and my own fantasy championship once i'll have time for that...

Most fun observance for me was that now modern f1 is very very close to gp4 somehow. Anyone who saw enough of gp4 races can confirm that if md file has driver errors set to high values, you'll see lots of cars suddenly going twitchy which results them getting slower, hard breaking, slamming into one another or slightly going wide or out the track. Now the modern f1 engines manage to switch between electric and oldschool modes to catch drivers into uncomfortable moments. I saw qualy today and Bortoleto's crash was exactly like gp4 incident when car suddenly gets loose and this is simply cause modern engines are annoying to say the least. But those 1st rounds are good for my bank account tho. Betting on Mercs win and less than 17 cars finishing the race delivers for now.

Re: Lando Norris, champion of the world.

Best champion in my opinion since dunno when. Since Hamilton 08, although I'd prefer Massa to win honestly, but I was prefering him over Ham only just marginally, mainly because I remember how he has lost comfortable leading place at Hungaroring 08 few laps before the end and Heikki Kovalainen won his only race ever. So yeah, but then Hamilton also suffered at Sepang 16 for Rosberg to win the title, so I guess it was his turn to pay. Anyway, since then Button won due to Brawn genius despite he and Barichello year ago couldn't really even score a point rly. Then it was Vettel_the_finger and I hate Red Bull and especially hate people disregarding team orders and promises. He is a p*g for me and will be forever. Then it was Hamilton winning easily due to Mercedes being only one competent power, but lost to Roseburg once who in my humble opinion IS indeed the weakest champion from all of them (even ahead of his father, who is one place ahead of him). Then it was Ham again, then Verstappen and despite I've grown to admire his obvious skills, I don't think he is still mature, cos even this year he had let himself to lose valuable points with ramming into Russell (those points would be enought for him to be a champ this year, but he is not which is fair for bad-tempered spergs like him) his 1st title was so comically farse that I still refuse to believe that it has happened with Michael Maci being the sole person decieding who is got to win and who is not with his unique one-off out of place brilliant ruling. And then it was Max being at the wheel of best car again with mediocre teammate (Perez) who still scored almost as many points as Leclerc who was trying his best to match Max (unsucsessfully). Then it was the one car running the whole year, while others were only spectating with even Perez winning twice, which shows how brilliant that car was. Then it was last year when finally corrupted Red Piglet unit started to collapse and they've almost lost while their team boss was busy harrassing ladies. And finally now the brillian strategy of Zak Brown, Andrea Stella and others, especially with bringing in the most blank and underwhelming zero level of absented empty-faced character that Oscar Piastri is (seriously the guy seems like sterile chat-gpt robot imitating average gen z random nobody of a person). I mean Lando clearly has his own personal mental problems but when he had probably realized that losing to THAT kind of a guy would be a personal insult terminating his future legacy forever and somehow he had sorted all out, trying not too hard, but just enough because thankfully this season it was them having the superior car which was the own class of the field. So between 2 cars race he was strong enough to outrace his teammate, who was so bad that he eventually lost 2nd place behind Norris to Max who tries too hard to earn my true respect it seems (othervise I don't see why he was trying this much hard, which was silly of him honestly, cos all the people with the eyes open - me included - saw McLaren driver winning the title from after like 2-3 race of the year already). So yeah Norris is the good lad, fast driver, and even if just a little slower than Verstappen and even Lecler, he is still good lad and I am happy for him and he is among people I was chearing for (he is my 2nd fav driver after Lecler). And yeah Piastri losing to Verstappen makes it even more satisfying to me cos I feel like his lack of character should be punished by even more than what has happened. I don't think I even notice if he gets to be replaced by Giovinazzi, so it is too much words spended on him. Overall a good season, especially good for Lecler showing how much utterly great he is as a races outracing both Vettel, Sainz and now allmighty Hamilton, especially the latter with such an ease lol. Poor Ham should have retired tbh, but yeah who now wants to race for the red garbage cans now? I don't think even Piastri would like to, cos his current team is so much better. New drivers like Bortoleto, Bearman, Lawson, Hadjar (sometimes) and even Antobelly are doing fine most of times. Cardopinto should've been booted, but it seems noone else would like to pay to drive in F1 anymore, so yes.

Next season can be funny from what I've heard if people understand new regulations right. Also maybe 1st race it will be 2-3 cars finishing the race before they understand real way to control the fuel and energy management lol which is gonna be hilarious. Gigantic Formula E now as the main autosportive event hahah, so much fun ahead! ;)

Lando joins a small group of drivers that had no skill to win a championship without a car that did it all for them: Nico Rosberg, Damon Hill, Jacques Villeneuve, Lando Norris.

And he did it with an illegal overtake with all four wheels off track over Tsunoda, having two british stewards (one of them Derek Warwick, the same of the 2021 British GP) helping him to avoid a penalty.

Note that at US GP in 2024 he got a penalty for doing exactly the same with Max.

And also at US GP iirc Vettel got the same penalty: 10 seconds.

FIA just did not have the courage to punish him because they were not interested in Lando fans insulting them like Lewis fans are insulting them since 2021 even though Michael Masi followed the rules as they were written back in 2021, and also followed a teams agreement since Spa 2021 for the races to end in a green flag unless there is a force majeure (safety issues). Mercedes agreed with that, so they cannot complain.
