JIP generation now here - import textures, not canvas is the best approach. Principle is to import individual items, they are then positioned as best as possible for the canvas, plus the mipmaps are generated fully by the app.

Some interesting RCR JAM generation too.

Amazing work & kudos from Comick on the browser related Jam Editor!

If you find a bug or problem, please tell me step by step what happened, along with associated files and I'll do what I can to fix.

One of well known problems with GP3 1.13 (as they have sorted out with
2000 season edition, and so in GP4) is about the long replay.
The problem happens cause the original GP3 and 1.13 has not native support for long replay, and it has been implemented apart, with utility
gp3Video.exe, in late 2000: it works fine if dry race, but it's going a mess if wet or variable weather.
This is due to track evolution is not mapped in the replay function as in 20 seconds replay there is no track evolution, but in long replay
grip changes, and older and older clips don't match with player recorded commands.

However statistically,
I found some way to make it working , JUST IN SOME circumstances, but (this is the important discover) not randomly.
Is not still working in variable condition, I'll have to find and try
more tests, but in some soaked race, you can have it working
following these steps :

1. before start the game configure GPxPatch :
- select the right executable in GPxPatch tab, to gp3v.exe, generated with gp3Video.exe util.
- in GPxSet tab,
deselect "car performance team dependent" checkbox (itll apply the Gp3Edit value, anyway).
- Click button "Session Settings"
- put weather->Custom , rain prob. over 95%.
- put random seed -> Use; the seed numbers to put in textbox: 58939,13608,27149,52283,65184,1580
2. Then confirm and "Start GPx" as normal.

go to do your race...

3. when you want replay,
- exit quickly from the cockpit by "<-" key and press "P" ( as sometimes it crash if press P in cockpit).
- DO NOT PRESS "R" to run replay,
INSTEAD press just " ; " key to see from starting race.
- Then, just resee the race from start or move forward/backward
20 seconds at time with " [ " or " ] " keys, up to the point you were.
- when at the end of replay you can repress P and "->" to come back in
cockpit as normal.
And that's all. It works with rain , in normal and quick race.
I have tested several...

Statistically the important things seems be not checked the "power team dependent"
and not press R , for replay but just move with gp3Video keys forward/backward.

The Link to F1 1991 is now fixed.

I am working on F1 1971 and expect to release it this summer. Then its on to F1 1990 or 1997.

Your Megapatches are all Great and very well done so i like them all because i am aware of the time you must put in it to make them.
Personnaly (since i'm not young anymore) i have a lot of fun playing the oldest Seasons, i would say 1979 is probably one of my favorites.

If it is the case, i'm sharing two version (doxbox ready to play) of the game: The original 1994 version with somme little changes here and there and i also have a "Senna Edition" version if you prefer. Thanks so much for the comliments and encouragement. I am 52 soon and still get so much fun out of making things for GP3 and driving races. I cant imagine ever getting bored of it. Its so good for me. I have a stressful job but when I am making things for GP3 my mind forgets my worries and I just have fun. Thank you to Geoff Crammond and everyone that has contributed to the communty.

I just want to tell you (again) that your hard work and your passion for Grand Prix 3 make people like us STILL enjoying this wonderful sim even after more than 25 years after the release. Personnaly i also have made a few things for the game over the years (since the beginning) and OH MAN!!! Time goes by and now..... I'm 59 years old and i still play it on a regular base and still enjoying it has much then before and i would say maybe even more because no other sim feels like this one. So again thank you for beeing passionate like us and sharing your modding talent. Let's go for another 10 years of grand prix 3 lol....

If you have previously downloaded these MegaPatches, you might want to download them all again as I have made a number of improvements over the past 5 years and only now uploaded the updated versions.
Improvements include better cockpits and steering wheels, helmets of the grid menus and multiple carsets and performance files. There are also some changes to track JAMs to make them more accurate. Subtle differences but worth having.

BTW - I am currently working on F1 1971, with early research undertaken to work on F1 1990 or 1997 after that.

I never experienced that with dgvoodoo 2.52, in GP3 and GP3 2k.
Check if not related to a setting of phisical graphic card , as antialias, FXAA, or anasitropics , put all at "application controlled", also in dgvoodoo settings
put just vram 512, resolution NOT FORCED , screen centered , no mipmapping, fast memory access.

DgVoodoo works, but produces brightblue edges along transparent pixel-areas. This happens with DgVoodoo 2.52 and all versions up (in my case). The brightblue edges are shown on steeringwheel, trees fences..

Any solution?

I think you cannot do anything with dxWnd , for black transparency. just DgVoodoo can sort with that.
Dxwnd uses the direct X native (which are those make black transparency ) of your real graphics card,

DgVoodoo re-write the direct X and virtualize a graphic card via software.

So you can use DgVoodoo (I suggest 2.52 version ). That will sort also the black transparency.
