I tried GT5 today at the Anime Expo in East London. It's ace!

They didn't have the X1 in it but I had a go with a SLR on the Nordschleife. Twas fun :D

I played the most recent demo too and I have to say I am glad to see the way the car turns has changed, at least on the non-GT4 cars :)

Sorry, but it looks like crap. It's unconvincing in every way. If this game was a new game, by a new developer, with less content, it'd get ripped apart.

You know what it reminds me of.... Outrun. On the Mega Drive. With reflections.

Ignore the content Dave - surely no-one will be vain enough to buy it for that alone? Still.. it's not like there's anything else you'd buy it for.

Basically it looks like a 3ds Max showpiece with some half-hearted physics (again).
