The plan was that I'd draw a car, dig out the watercolours and produce something quite nice. Turns out that I have no paintbrushes...so the actual colouring will have to wait until Tuesday (don't have time to get brushes and paint it now, got a DT exam to revise for)
The front tyres are a bit skewiff (I could claim there's a lot of camber on them, but that's just plain cheating) and the light in my room's not so good (so the paper looks brown). But here's the general outline. Can you tell what it is yet?
But yeah, there's one or two issues I have to iron out first before I get onto the painting.

I wouldnt go ironing it, mightn't look so good after that!
Before you hit it with the water colours, you better revise the angle of the rear wing a bit, otherwise it's looking good! Hope to see it finished.

That's looking not bad. As said already, straighten out the rear wing, but I'm sure you'll know how to paint over that(and the other sketchy details - that's what basic sketches are for - just a reference point) when you take it to the next stage.

That's looking not bad. As said already, straighten out the rear wing, but I'm sure you'll know how to paint over that(and the other sketchy details - that's what basic sketches are for - just a reference point) when you take it to the next stage.

Fantastic work as ever mate. I'm thinking of going back and doing a traditional drawing, just need some subject material. Was considering one the launch pics of the RB8.

Here's the result, I'm not 100% happy with it but it's ok considering I've not painted for a few years.
Definitely up for constructive criticism, I'm planning either a Pacific PR01 or a Tyrrell 012 next and I want these to be a little better.
