did the ebay listing not explicitly state what manufacturer it was from?

and that F310/2 (2nd half of 1996 ferrari high-nose) is so ugly it's beautiful, i have it in 1:43.

some great models and pics guys!

i would like to get my hands on a Schumacer '95 Benetton, i thought it was a great looking car. some other wish list cars of mine would be 1:18 versions of the Jordan 197, F310B, Villeneuve's '97 FW19 and maybe a 97 McLaren. i think 1997 was the last time F1 cars were truly beautiful, with their smaller front slick tyres compared to the rears, simple bodywork and wide track.

RIP Jules, never to be forgotten. #KeepFightingMichael

No it didn't in fairness, I made the mistake of assuming it was Minichamps because it was listed in Minichamps catorgies. Without doubt the worst model car I've ever bought that wasn't intended to be a toy of some sort. Still for £3.22 have to take the rough with the smooth.

I'll be a bit more careful to bid on listings with more through descriptions in the future.

n00b! That's a long way to how you loose ;) You need to be around at the very end because the people most intent on winning will wait until about 5 or 10 seconds to go before they bid. They rarely show their cards before hand.

Love that they made a special driver model so that he holds the wheel in the 'Alesi position' :)

Ehh, I dunno if it makes much difference. If I'm going to be away I do the autobid thing where I nominate my highest price and it automatically outbids any other punters until my ceiling is reached. If they want to keep going they're welcome to it. Sometimes I'll dump in a big bid early and watch guys take multiple cracks at it. Again, if they reach it they can have it ;)

I've been keeping an eye out for a mp4/6 too, but they tend to command higher prices. I'll bide my time.

I put my limit when I bid on it to start it all, basically my max was $53 total... the auction went for $57+$14 shipping ;).

I had much luck with that one, got it for about 30€, the other ones I've seen were sold for about 50€.

My Fisichella should arrive tomorrow, UPS delayed delivery by one day hot . A few hours ago I lost a 97 Villeneuve by just a dollar, I could have outbid the guy and kept within my limit but I had to g do a few things outside of home and meet my dad so it just slipped under my radar. Now I'm keeping close watch of another one I may be able to get for a great bargain!

What just got out of my "exception" for my limited price range:

1:18 and the only one below $100, it's currently at $66 (inc. shipping) with minutes to go. It may skyrocket by a couple dozen dollars.

Edit: In the final 25 seconds it climbed to $77.65!

When I get some time, I'll add some photos of my Mazda 787B model which I'm quite happy with.

1:18? I can't get those for less than $190 here, if I am lucky!

It's a 1:43 model.

My dad was at the 24 Hours this year, so I asked him to look out for one and he got one for about 40 euros IIRC.

So my 99 Fisichella has delayed until Monday due to blizzard conditions on Friday :(. Today I won Da Matta's 2003 Toyota and Frentzen's 97 Williams for a combined $37 including shipping!

Good catch, I hope your Frentzen Williams is better than my onyx.

I am making sure to only go for Minichamps models :). This one was a great steal, so many 96-97 cars around and people just overlooked Frentzen (actually a Rothmans converted model!). Da Matta's cost 15.xx dollars!

That's most likely because the 97 Frentzen car came with no helmet decals, and he was simply called German Driver
