Does anyone else have this game?? It was released about 2 years ago and the data is based on the 1999 season (urgh). Basically I have 2 questions that maybe one of you guys can answer.

1.) Has anyone ever made an unofficial / official update for this, to make it have more recent car liveries?
2.) On three different CPU's and OS' this game crashes back to the desktop after about half an hour of playing...anybody else experience this?

yeah I have this game, I got it free with F1 2001, its pretty crap though. there's an excellent management game being made at www.f1cm.co.uk its being developed by an independant team who are looking for a publisher, the attention to detail in this game looks amazing.
as for your questions:

1) there are updates to the liveries but I dont know where to get them, because of the shitty graphics engine the liveries look as bad as the originals though (you thought gp3 was bad, you should see these)

2) pretty much everyone who has bought the game has experienced this i'm afraid, its just full of bugs but EA never realeased a patch mainly because they realised it was a pretty crap game and decided to pretent it didn't exsist (there wasn't even a section for it on the website)

Cheers matthew I found an downloaded a great livery, helmets and staff update to make it to the 2002 season, but yeah it seems EA sports just slapped this together and got it out quickly just to be able to claim they made a management game.

lol Chris here's the URL, then go to 'updates' for F1manager.

Um matthew the liveries are better quality than the originals, and its great to see Montoya thrashing around in a WilliamsBMW livery. There are also claims that this update rids the game of the 'crash to desktop' bug in teh game....great stuff.

Copy that URL into your browser. Everything is changed using text files so download takes just 10 secs.

By the way, below is another URL for a F1manager download site, and it includes a no-cd patch for the game. While it says it works only for the German version of the game, it also works for the UK version too, and I've had no crashes with it yet.

And why the @!#$ is there 'The Corrs' music in the background on this site?!?!
