God Mode for Windows 7 & 8

Maybe you folks already knew about this?
I had read it years ago for W7 & forgot then just saw a post last night
saying it works in Window 8.1 also

Anyway just right click your desktop & select New Folder
Then while "New Folder" name is still highlighted rename it to
or just copy & paste this ..........

What you end up with is a control panel looking icon with many settings adjustments within it

Saw this in Vista or 7 and I think I can honestly say I've never used it. I don't know why, as the options are more logically laid out than in Control Panel and quicker to access too, but I've just never bothered.

My favourite Windows 8 gem is the power menu which pops up when you right-click on the start button (8.1) or the bottom-left hot-spot (8.0). I really miss that when I come to use PCs with Windows 7. It can be further extended to include other options too.

I know & agree as I also never used it but it is laid out better as you say
Sp I have it on my desktop as an icon now just in case
