Quick question

Hope you don't mind me asking but does GP4 use the file MSVCR71.dll? As my computer is missing this file and no matter how many times install/uninstall the game, I update it with 9.6 patch and the ferrari's turn white, 3 jaguars get added and carbons are gone from most of the cars? This does get covered quite a lot, even I asked this 2 years ago.

windows seven 32bits? check that this exists in c: \ windows \ system32
possibly the .dll was not registered by the system and in this case, go to accessories and then "Command Prompt" and type the following:

CD \ WINDOWS \ SYSTEM32

regsvr32 MSVR71.DLL

and now this .dll was registered

to "unregister" just do:

MSVR71.DLL regsvr32 / u

The reason for my questioning is that, after I've reinstalled from disc I can't update the cars.wad due to writing issues and this is after I've done the patch's 9.6, 1.02 & no_CD patch! When I do the 9.6 patch it tells me to install directx8.1! I never had this problem before, so what am I doing wrong???
