GPGSL S7 [SEASON COMPLETED!!!] Rule Changes Announced For S8.

Charrel dissapointed after engine problems
My qualifying was not to good, a 10th place.. But in the race I managed to race to the max, overtaking and having an awesome pace.
Right before the 1st stop I started having engine problems, we think it was because of an broken axhaust.. I was doing great and a podium was realistic..
But further the race went on, the more topspeed I lost.. Just look at the last overtaking, he was past me and driving away like crazy..
Anyhow, I managed to stay within the points, staying ahead of the current championship leader.. so things could be worse! My teammate showed he could take profit of other peoples problems and race trough it like crazy!
Race starts: 141 | Points: 886 | Podiums: 35 | Race wins: 10

Snake had a horrible race, with both cars crashing out
The two big men of the GPGSL, Ed and Marko fighting at the back of the pack
Christel looking scarily fast once again
And the big shocker... John Warrington actually stopped twice

Warrington stopped twice in Montreal too - just a shame he never told his pit crew

I suppose it says a lot about our teams progress that I can now afford to be slightly disappointed with the outcome of the race. We had the pace in qualifying but it seemed to evaporate in the race.

You forgot that I qualified 3rd, jumped to 2nd in the start and managed to put some pressure on John W. before the first stops and my unfortunate failure. All that with the average-ish perf of a rookie.

Team Shadow Subaru have arrived in this championship!
Beautiful driving from Ruben to carve his way through the field and make use of a superior strategy to get one over on AMR. Shame to see Marko forced wide and have his race ruined but I guess it's a consequence of our poor qualifying form. Was great to see TSS and AMR fighting throughout the race and throughout the field.
Well done Ruben, both on the result and on that excellent coverage - really enjoyed every minute

Awful result for Snake Motorsports, we really went backwards ... I see no hope for the remainder of the season
On another note
Am I the only way who isn't too fund of the coverage?
I really enjoyed all the camera angles, they were incredible I must say, but there were points of the coverage that 'annoyed' me, the camera (especially at the start of the race) seemed to skip off a little too often, sometimes in the middle of the action.
Also I found the camera to linger on many times just showing blank footage of tarmac or drivers not interesting at points a little to often for my opinion
I missed seeing no pitstops at all, not even from the leading cars
In a shot you could see a car slowing down on the straight with problems, yet the camera remained with the racing cars until the point that car had already long parked in the grass
And we didn't even saw the winner cross the finish line, it skipped to car number 5 when the leading driver was onto the last straight!
In overall I think 26 minutes is a little bit too long as well, even though it does shows (almost) everything that happened in the race, I just found myself obligated to watch in the end, instead of really enjoying it
Anyway don't take too much of this, I'm just a overly criticizer, a really big nitpicker, not to be taken to seriously/heavy. I know there has been put a great deal of work in this coverage, and I really do appreciate it! I would not be able to do it myself!
Sorry to be such a downer on this piece of work. I hope my honest opinion is respected and not taken the wrong way.
This is not being done for me, but for the majority of the users here and there won't ever be a lifetime were everyone will agree with one and another.

On another note
Am I the only way who isn't too fund of the coverage?
I really enjoyed all the camera angles, they were incredible I must say, but there were points of the coverage that 'annoyed' me, the camera (especially at the start of the race) seemed to skip off a little too often, sometimes in the middle of the action.
Also I found the camera to linger on many times just showing blank footage of tarmac or drivers not interesting at points a little to often for my opinion

I have to disagree. I thought it was awesome. I thought some of the camera angles were brilliant and this coverage looked very realistic. My only suggestion would be to have had some commentary, which I wouldnt mind volunteering for in the future.
