It's not a laptop mod.the 94 one i mean.

I played youre 2013 laptopmod and it works great....very great.

But i have a question about the tracks.

Can i put new tracks in this mod...and how will i do that.

No I probably won't make any updates for mods that already exist. I prefer to focus on modern season updates at GP4 Central.

Yes, it's very easy. Download a new track, and place the .dat and .wad files in a folder. Next, open GPxPatch and go to the GPxTrack tab. Click Edit, and then find the .dat file of the circuit you downloaded.

Release 1 of the 2013 Mod by GP4 Central is released today.

I've added Isaint's McLaren MP4-28 and fixed a couple of bugs.

I've also decided to remove the "Circuits" folder, as it seems to confuse newer players.

Tom, i must say you did a hell of a job. my laptop is like 6 or 7 years old and runs a onboard video card but the game is smooth as hell and it looks really nice. its really a terrific job mate!

it may well be, but i can't find the torrent file? the one on gp4 central just gives me a load of scrambled text when i click the link?

Ah ok, you should have said it wasn't working!! I'll look into it.


Edit: Hmm ok, are you using Internet Explorer? I just tested this and it works in Firefox, but it seems it doesn't work in IE... Sorry about that.

I'll change some things around to try and fix it in IE.

The next release of the 2013 CSM Mod will include pitboards (I've been meaning to add these to the GP4 Central mods for ages).



I've also been working on a new CC line and Magic Data for Marina Bay / Singapore. CC line is done, and the Magic Data is coming along nicely (see the Magic Data thread for more).

This is truly fantastic work. I have a six year old laptop and the game now runs super-smoothly on it.

But I have one problem with the TV overlays of GpxPatch on this mod. For some reason the standings overlays are not showing in either races or qualifying. During qualifying there isn't even a lap timer on screen. The only thing I'm getting are the sky messages for fastest lap or DNFs during races. Driver names are also not showing when changing cameras between cars.

Is there something I have to change in the config file for GpxPatch? I've selected the 2010 TV style normally in the GpxPatch settings.
