stefano's laptime is incredible, despite his weight penalty.

Agreed supermonty - that is a brilliant lap time (Y), as is yours!

I'm interested about the precedent [Tom's DSQ] sets moving forward.

Good point Doug. To clarify the ruling from now on:- Crossing the white lines will result in the deletion of that laptime from the leaderboard, and the previous laptime will be reinstated. That ruling can be made up to 48 hours after the end of the event by visual inspection.

This also raises a secondary point - driver's who submit a corrupted replay (due to setting their reset point too close to the start line) will be similarly penalised because it will not be possible to know if they broke the above rule.

Driver's will not be totally deleted from the board as I have done for myself on this occasion - I did that because the above rules were not clear before this case, and I can't be seen to be making it up for my own benefit as we go along. The rules are now clear and will be implemented as above for all participants in future.

That all seems clear enough Tom (Y)
Thanks for taking the time to adjust & making it clear.

But to be honest I see no difference between your
supposed infraction & even jc's handling of the same turn

In these pics at some point all four of his tires are on or beyond the white line
In the very same turn. Are they not?

The difference that my tyres are over the white line. DO you need glasses?

Yes I do actually ;-) I wear glasses :-)

But also I have a hard time watching your replays since it is in 16FPS it is like watching a stop & go slomo
You like that view?

But I see the same even for mine or even Javi
I imagine if I look at all I would see similar

Overall I think it was a non event to bring up in the 1st place

Other drivers have crossed the white lines with the 4w.
I did not check all.

I did look several times my lap and it was just legal on every corner. 2 tyres over the white lines.
2 tyres over the white lines are allowed, whats not allow is to have all tyres outside the white line.

I checked Toms lap by casual the other day.
I sent him a PM when the hotlap was still open for another 30 hours
showing him the picture of the 4w he had. He had more than sufficient
time to make another hotlap.

His error was to trust hofxlapw.

This is what I am saying

It is not fair to just penalize Tom
Also it was not his error to trust hofxlap it was the event policy
to trust hofxlap

If not for your complaint ....So I am just saying it is not fair to single out 1 person
to enforce this non rule on
As such Monza should have just been let be & any new rules enforced at next event

So how about that 16FPS? Whats the deal with that?
Just curious if you like that view?
I know your gfx card supports the more fluid 38-40fps most run
Do you find it better running the sim in 16fps?

It has not passed 48hs since the end of the hotlap.
You can make your claims, ofcourse you have to show proper proof.

I showed only Toms hotlap because it was the one i checked.
I did check other hotlaps but they changed their hotlaps in the lasts few hours.

No wouldn't think of it & have no claims to make
Again my point was just to be fair to Tom

All in all as I always said it is just for fun

Then i dont understand.
You claim that i pointed the finger at Tom and not others.
I dont have to claim to others.
Other partcipants are allowed to make their claims
Read the rules of the league.

Just to clarify something else before the next event starts: the Top 4 drivers in the championship receive performance restrictions for the next event. Right now we have the following:

P4 - Bata - 11pts
P5 - Nico Iceberg - 11pts

Bata is ahead of Nico Iceberg (aka flying) due to having scored a better result in the previous round, and so is included in the Top 4 who receive the performance restrictions. Nico Iceberg is not.

GP4CC Event 3 - Singapore

And so we arrive in Singapore for the next event. Stefano arrives with a 2 point lead but will he be able to hold of the chasing pack with another maximum fuel penalty? Can Jorge repeat his Monza victory? Will Supermonty score his first podium of the season? And can vimal and Eric break their duck and score their first points of the season? Let's find out!
