A relatively good showing for us especially considering we aren't using a boost. Here's hoping for qualifying.

bloody good showing that! boost almighty, mwahaha!

lol@ the bear :P

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it
7th is good enough for me, points are always welcome. A good harvest also for Stefan.

As always, good luck for Rodrigo and John (I need you in the engineer's seat again, you are kind of a lucky charm ;) haha)

Do you also have Driver championship up to last race?

Copeman hints at future plans

Christel VXR boss Chris Copeman has admitted for the first time that he is considering putting his racing career on hold next season if he doesn't manage to land a competitive testing seat. Speaking after free practice at Spa Copeman admitted that simply being a team boss next year is now an option he is seriously considering, "I've not been able to put my all into my racing career this season and I haven't performed to my expectations anyway. I can't thank Rico enough for giving me the opportunity to test at VSM but my heart lies truly with Christel VXR and if taking a year (or longer) off means that I can help push the team forward then that may be what has to happen."

When questioned as to why he refuses to take up the vacant test seat at his Christel team Copeman responded quickly saying, "I knew from day one that I would avoid driving for my own team. I want to be able to give drivers the chance to prove themselves and develop their talents, like we have with Connor this year. I am hoping to find somebody to fill the second test seat for next season and hopefully it will be another young talent. Don't get me wrong, if I am offered a competitive test seat for next year I would take it but at the moment I don't think I am performing well enough for that to happen."

Carlos, I guess you're definitely right. That engineer is a jerk ;-) From next race on I'll take that engineer's seat during FP again.

On a general note, the FP was not too bad but also not too promising. Yet I have hope, as we were able to improve a lot from the FPs to the qualifyings the last times and I simply hope that this happens again here in LeMans.

Not too good, but not too bad either.

Really poor showing from me! Not good enough at the moment!

My GPGSL Career
Interesting Stats

1. Ed Greenhalgh as dominated recent
events with 5 consecutive pole positions and
5 wins from the last six races. This is the best
streak in GPGSL history.

2. At the same point in the championship
last season, Nick Van Der Voort was leading the
championship on 116 points, a full race worth
behind this season.

3. In the testers championship, Ben Johnson
was leading on 133 points compared to this
seasons leader, Stuart Ingers on 104.

4. And in the teams championship,
Southern Cross Racing where leading on 189 points,
going toe to toe with this seasons leaders,
Aston Martin Racing who currently sit on 190 points.

Season 6 Championship Tables

If we can hang onto 9th place in the championship I think we will have had a good first year.

I know Owen isn't in the right spot on the table, but I can't be bothered changing it.
