I really appreciate your help in compiling this, thank you.

The Codemasters F1 2010 game has re-sparked my interest in GP4 and I've just re-installed it.

I was just wondering, has anyone done a complete, step-by-step tutorial for newbies - or idiots like me :) - on how to update GP4 to 2010?

I really don't know how, or where, to start doing this :(

Thanks.

Me too!

And Madotter's guide to updating GP4 to 2010 is defintely the best one to follow, as SPOKES said. The instructions are excellent, only the content has become out of date, which is why I created this thread.

@DadouF1 - Thanks for the link. That car is based on the old Brawn shape and Soulbringer's is a better choice, so I'm not going to recommend that one. Thank you anyway though :-).

Edit: I stand corrected, it looks like an updated shape. I'll check it out...

Edit #2: Excellent recommendation, thanks DadouF1. Added this Mercedes.

Montreal 2010 Update --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so it might be about 60% done but most of whats left to work on are textures, so I'm releasing a first public version now

last corner fixed

2010 adverts
...
includes the .dat with the fixed pitlane speed exit(as talked on p1)

as its an update you need the 2008 version first
[www.mediafire.com]

moved on to rfactor but its still 2010 (B)

Added josekast's 2010 cars pack. All cars converted from Codemasters F1 2010, available over at GP4-Argentina. Fantastic car set with lots of track-specific textures. Highly recommended download!

@prunn - I'll start compiling a list of tracks next season. Thanks.

For those still driving 2010 season you may add my 2010 physics and torques files:

Files are compatible with gitane's perfoprmance files - we tuned our works match each other.

This is a great compilation guys!!!

However, some of the links are broken because some of the files were hosted by megaupload...

I need 2010 TV Overlays.... Does anybody know where to find them?

Thanks!

Hi TomMK, I'm sorry for being so annoying but that's just the HUD and not the TV overlays (which indicate driver, team, position, time, etc). Do you know where to find them?

Hmm no sorry, closest I can get would be the 2011 overlays by F1 Virtual.
