2010 Cockpit Textures released by Nick!!!

Hi guys,

I give you my next work for the F1 2010 Season: 2010 Cockpits




They use as base the amazing 2008 cockpit shape from Scott(Renault#1fan and thanx for permission!!!)
The package contains: Lo,Med,Hi res textures and the cockpit shape and the textures of the cockpit shape.
How to install them is written in the readme!!!

just one remark: the colors of the leds indicating position and fuel laps remaining aren't 100% clearly visible, could you use a brighter color for them?

Really nice work ! I have faced a problem during the race in the cockipt view ( of course !! ) . The textures on the sides of the cockipts go and come like you can see in t hese links : http://yfrog.com/ccgpx1993p e [yfrog.com]
Which is my mistake and what I have to do vo solve it?

I split the thread to remove a 2010 cockpit release from another user, unfortunately one post by ricferla was lost. Post body was 'problem solved'.

HI,
I know the car files in the Hi Res go in the main cars folder; where do you place:

car_cockpit_00.gp4
cockpit_dash.gp4

I assume the Shapes Texture folder files also all go into the mains cars folder?

@ricardo i dont know how to fix that mate it didn´t happend to me

car_cockpit_00.gp4 you place in the main cars file of your cars.wad
cockpit_dash.gp4 you place it in the cockpit map in the cars.wad
and yes the shape textures you put it all together but the visor.tex file you need to place it in the same map as the cockpit_dash.gp4

Hi Nick,
Is there a way of removing the glass visor in cockpit view (not the helmet visor) the one in the car?

well you could delete cockpit_dash.gp4 because thats the file with the visor

These cockpit views do the include the green stripe on the front tyres on all the cars, as I think this is the reason for alot of my problems on gpx patch error log? Could all cars be changed to green stripe, please Nick?

Does anybody else have part of the cockpit transparent to the left and right of the visor?
I'm not sure if this was always there, I've only just installed this new shape cockpit.

How do I install textures? It's not in the description
