howcomes they can't be changed?


maybe somebody could redisgn them?


if not the whole lot maybe just the font and the new black background??

In order for them to be redone in the style is an update to gpxpatch. I'll try to make it as close as possible with the font and black background.

o ye ive just seen them and they are a complete new style arent they :P different shape and everything

although it would still be great if you could give it a try :D

Hmm looks nice. But white letters on a black ground is difficult to read than black letters on white ground. It seems that the FIA changed the style every year: 2004, 2006, 2009, 2010...

It has been pretty much the same since 2004, I don't know what changes you are talking about.

Tip: You can make like a TV Overlay, without editing files
gfx folder.

You are right it's been the same since 2004, in 2009 they made the style a bit "3D" by placing shadows and stuff on them. New style does like snazzy though. IMO they need to bring back some of the info they used to have in the late 90's though, such as car number and who has retired after XX amount of laps.

Anyone have any more pics of the graphics (preferably in high resolution)?

Great, I need some pictures of the big red 1 graphic.

Here is the latest screenshots showing progress.
As I can't edit font colour I am forced to add the white section to the overlay so people can read driver names and the lap thing.

The font for the timing gap has always been White maybe you could check the code for that and copy it?
