Massive thank you to Kevin Schroeder for painting the car, we are hoping also for a render by the weekend. Thank you also to Marko Aleksander for the images.
On a team related note, Ricardo Van Smirren, Rick Groeneboer, Christopher Hinz and Zak Tonks are extremley looking forward to the new series. Feedback from Chris and Zak are saying positive things about the car, on the pitwall, Ryan Gault is also aiming for a better finish in the championship table, hopefully in the top half, to continue success the team is having in the Formula 400 similarily.

Welcome to the Presentation of the new DER MD09. The team has had a wonderful 2008 after moving from the back of the grid to the midfield with a podium last year (Atleast I think we did or did the car crash or something). Such a shame I can't remember. Ferrari and Magenti Marelli stay with us this year due to their three year with the team. Magenti have developed a fantastic KERS system for us (No, it doesn't have the W.A.N in front of it ) The team structure has also remained the same with Rory Byrne, Aldo Costa and Stefano Dommincali so atleast this year we hope to get in front of the grid and score some massive points and maybe even podiums or a bonus of Wins. We've done extensive tests compared to last year to make sure the car performs better and is reliable than last year.
The sponsors remains the same with the exception of Ray-Ban which we lost to Alpha Motorsports. We hope they have a wonderful time over there. We however, have retained the services of TAP and TMN which we hope will continue to help us over the remaining two years for the service to and from the circuit. Domino's Pizza has joined us in a bid to lure all the drivers from the fellow teams and make them as fat and bloated as possible so that they can't fit into the car and race. The main sponsor which has joined us is Gillette with whom we've signed a 3 year contract to appear on the main wings and nose of the car. Virgin Trains also remain with us. With the signing of our 4 new drivers, they've also brought over sponsorships in the names of Poker Stars with Stuart and Shell with Byron. Dan and Kyran have not chosen their specialist sponsors yet.
We have had a major overhaul this season as we have changed our drivers line up. Stuart and Byron have both joined the series after being in the sidelines season and now have a chance to shine. Stuart is already starting to prove himself in the testing and Byron has had a little tough time adjusting to the car after being a racer in the W400. Kyran and Dan have joined us up as test drivers looking to earn their GPGSL Miles to promote themselves into the race seats.

Oh, while we wait for more on track action, I want to comment that I still find it funny that nobody, GPGTV nor The Press asked me why the team is named RaltWest
