Does anybody know how to fix the bug that the cars stay hold at the pits when go to pit stop. I remember that Monaco had the problem and somebody fixed it, also Valencia had the problem and I saw here that the bug was fixed. So, the bug is well know and a fix exists. As Singapore track also have the same problem, I'd like to know how to fix it.

I think on GPxPatch, on one of the panels, there is Fix Pitstop Bug check box. It may be that.

don´t think so, it´s a problem with the pitlane itself

I sincerely don't know what causes that bug.

However, there is a symptom which is cc-cars constantly shaking their steering wheels through the pitlane, sort like an orientation error. I believe there is some wrong parameter somewhere that causes all the pitlane bugs: shaking st-wheels, cars not pitting, cars riding over the kerb before the pit entry at Valencia.

There was a guy who released a fix at racesimulations, he made the bank distance a little bit lower on the pitlane. That seems more a workaround than a fix, because which Mod I'm running also interferes in whether cars get stuck or not. In my custom Mod I was testing the track, I never had that bug at all! That shouldn't happen, obviously.

So I strongly believe that there is a parameter that should make the pitlane work as it should, from start to end, but I haven't found anything conclusive yet and didn't have much time to search. Magic data or length of pitlane sectors seem to have little or no influence at all on the effects. If anyone knows a tip, please write here.

I found it... at least I hope so... the bug comes from INCORRECTLY POSITIONED PITLANE SECTOR 0. Yes, I did a tutorial about it months ago. I'll kill myself for not reading what I wrote! ;)

Basically, this is what must be done to correct this in tracks which already have a complete pitlane:

1. Go to the track sector that has the "Connect Pit Lane Start" flag.
2. Check in the "F0 Sector Orientation" command, for the "Direction" field.
3. Copy that value in the "Direction" field of the F0 command from Pitlane Sector zero.
4. Action Menu -> Fix cc-cars behavior.
5. Save .dat.

This fixes the shaking st-wheels and the stuck cars. Doesn't change anything outside the pit walls. "Direction2" is just a finetune of "Direction", so it doesn't have much influence and therefore doesn't need to be copied.

Great Prblanco! Thanks for this tutorial and here is the LINK for Valencia pitlane fix (by Mpad, Prblanco and Gildoorf).

I think someone should edit the title of this thread and write it as "solved"....I think it could help... ;)
