F1graphics.cfg files ******LINKS only*******

Hello,

Well, I see that some people ask for f1graphics.cfg settings.
We could share our f1graphics files, by mentioning:

1: Eventually your PC configuration with the O.S. used.
2: your graphic card
3: the game 3D resolution

Hope this topic will be helpful!

Important: before any changes, backup your .cfg file!

So, I begin:

PC configuration: AMD Sempron, processor 3500+
3,5 Go Ram
O.S: Windows Vista
Graphic card: Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT

All right! Good suggestion...but you know it depends of your 3D settings too ingame (I mean cars res, details etc...) but anyway, I will edit my first post and put a picture).

Nice, Excalibur... My graphic card is 8600 GT also, and our specs are very similar.
I'm sure you file will be very usefull to me. Tonight I'll test it properly.

My old file is in the rapidshare folder in my sig.

At the time my computer spec was:

AMD 3200 (2GHz)
ATi X1650
1GB RAM

But it would probably work with a computer like the one it was replaced with at a higher res:

Intel C2D E4400 (2GHz)
Nvidia 8600GT
2GB RAM

Here is my High Quality f1graphics.cfg:

Note, only for fast processors. A64 4000+ too slow in most situations. But you can disable video walls etc. It is up to you. Envmaps are disbled, unrealistic reflections for me.

What is the best configuration file f1graphics.cfg for video cards:
1 - Nvidia GForce 5200
2 - Nvidia GForce 6200
PC's with 256 and 512 of memory respectively.

I wish I had a cfg file for my PC to work at optimum looks for GP4 ^^

Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit (SP1)
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU (Q6600)
4GB of RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8800GT

I would also like a optimun f1graphics.cfg for my pc.

Hi, I've been thinking about setting up my laptop to run GP4 on keyboard just for fun when I'm bored or not at home

I would like to know if someone has a good f1graphics.cfg for my laptop?

Specs are:

Model HP Pavillion DV6000
AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile Technology TL-56 1.80GHz
RAM 2494 MB
32 bit Windows Vista Home Premium
NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 (Integrated Memory, I suspect that its up to 256MB only)

Its strange because atm running the pure game (without mods, gpxpatch, addons) the Processor Occupancy sits between 20-60 and the speed is good. But when I use CSM and all the whole bunch of addons or mods like F1 2006/2007 it just goes through the roof - PO sits between 100-200 and its unplayable.
