Installing CSM Mods?

Hey everyone. I have a problem with installing CSM Mods. What is the way to install CSM?

CSM keeps saying error, and that I need to unload GPxPatch and GP4. So I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

First you install Zaz Tools CSM. Have gpx_patch and a clean GP4.exe v1.02 installed. Download a mod, it is a cuh format file type. Run it, CSM will open and unpack it. Start the mod from CSMafter sel;ecting your configuration of how you wish to run the mod, driver, race typer etc. Select start,. CSM will then proceed to swap out all files within GP4, replacing the wads with the mod files. Then gpx will open, continue with the start up. Play.

It's a exception Error. I click continue, and then it comes up with Unload GPxPatch and GP4 first to restore.

Here you have a very complete and well done tutorial about GP4 and CSM ( step by step ) made by Marcelo Loureiro . The tutorial was written in Portuguese but with Google translate , pacience and the images which are into the tutorial I assure that you will be able to install your game , MODs and so on .

I have XP, and I don't know where to find if my pc is a 64bit OS. Also, the version of CSM I have is beta. Maybe that could be why it's not working and giving me the error.

????? Why not download the latest stable version that everyone else uses?! [www.gp4central.com]

1) Re-install GP4 again (I recommend using the already-patched version from GP4 Central

2) Install GPxPatch

3) Play the game and set up your graphics and controller

4) Uninstall and reinstall ZaZ Tools (use the latest version!!)

5) Report back here your results.

That is what I ended up doing after seeing a screen of CSM with 1.26. The mod loaded now so I just need to finish a AI race so that I know it won't CTD on me.

i have a 2012 mod.cuh but when i open it, it unpacks it, but when i start the game, the game is still same , no mod, hte original game opens, and the csm window does not swap all files of mods??

Did you start the game via CSM?

Start from the beginning:

1) Did you do a clean install of GP4?

2) Have you installed the patch and Decrypted exe?

3) Did you run the game?

4) Have you installed GPxPatch?

Getting the exact same error.
2013 mod will not load.
It is installed.

Drivers names aren't showing in the mods settings though.
