Files .Wad + Windows 8???

Hello friends, how are you?

Excuse my ignorance, but I installed Windows 8 on my computer and now I can not open the files wads. In Windows 7 and XP had an option (compress wadXXXXXX) and Windows 8 does not have this option. I am not able to open the files wads. Anyone have any suggestions? Has anyone had this problem too? A hug and sorry to bother you with this.

as in windows vista I had to disable DEP (data execution prevetion), follow the instructions in this post below:

the instructions are fine for windows 7, and 8 (64bits)
