Upcoming (temporary) farewell.

Hi all,
At some point soon, hopefully in the next couple of months, I'll be disappearing for a while when I leave to commence training for the Air Force.
Once this happens, chances are that I won't be particularly active for at least 12 weeks, maybe up to a year depending on how everything goes.
So this is just to let you know that, if I suddenly disappear for no reason, I'm (probably) not dead, just busy ;)

I'll hopefully have my Red Bull Masters Series mod finished by then but, if not, I'll upload what I've got with notes on what I was planning on doing next for anyone who wants to finish it.
I'm also hoping to (mostly) finish off a track I'm working on; 1 out of the 20 that I've started over the years isn't a bad success rate right?
I'll be uploading my unfinished Queensland Raceway stuff later today or tomorrow for anyone who wants to play with that as well; The pitlane could do with some tweaking,
and the track surface needs some elevations put in, but, otherwise, the driveable parts of the circuit are pretty accurate.

This is also as good a time as any; If I'm currently working on a project for anyone and they think I've forgotten about it, please PM me.

Cheers,
Doug.

@Atticus - Geospatial. I looked at operational, but they require applicants to have 'an aptitude to learn a foreign language'......and, if there is one thing I'm sure of, it's that I'm rubbish at languages. ;)

As i said Doug, my young fella graduates on the 28th Sep, then off to Newcastle for ASOP training.
Flying over to watch the graduation.

Make sure your physically fit Doug, the 2.4km run, flexed arm hang, push ups and sit ups.

They back course people without hesitation. Back coursed a girl 1st week in, back coursed a fella
just the other day with 2 weeks to go for failing the flexed arm hang by 2 seconds.

They are certainly more brutal in that aspect since i was in.

Haha, I see. Thanks for the reply. :-)

So you'll still be able to look at a lot of (advanced) Google Maps even after you abandon inserting Google Maps images into .gp4 files, lol. :)

Best of luck, once again!
