2014/2015 mods - Braking

Hello all,
When I play the 2014 or 2015 mods I really struggle to stop the car, I can't seem to brake as late into the corners as the AI and I often understeer off the road. Has anyone else experienced this problem and is there a way I can improve braking? Do I need to alter the setup? Many thanks.
