Drivers Championship

Constructors Championship

BMW Sauber

Pretty satisfied with the result, but disappointed because we could have a chance for the win. Our pace is lacking a lot and Honda passing us was just painful to watch but nonetheless 2nd was the best result we could manage today. Honda were very strong today, so I give my congratulations to them. For Ralf is still leading the championship and also ahead of Webber in the race standings which is good news. And Nick in 12th is not another result when he gone wide at Estoril but still manage to keep going, seems that this season isn't that great for him.

Super Aguri

Karthikeyan in 15th is a good result, but unfortunately Speed lost out at Estroil and his car was beached which ended him a day. Today's race result is not the great one for us and to say we'll struggle to get the points already as we've seemed to be the last team.
Eh, could have been better but at least we closed up on the top two in the WCC. Need to start getting some big points again though..

Honda
Felipe, I am so speechless with that victory. I can't believe we won it. YES!
Toyota

Obviously the race could have gone a bit better for us but we have to be happy with a double points finish and a podium.

2006 German Grand Prix - Free Practice

BMW Sauber

Surprised to see our guys in Top 5 already, looks like we're having some pretty good improvement and hopefully we can show on quali. Hopefully for a better result will be amazing for the whole team then we'll see what happens next.

Super Aguri

16th for Montagny and 19th Karthikeyan, well still we're looking good but yet we might rule out a good result because other cars might be quicker. We'll see what might happen in quali but all in all this is just free practice and they're doing so well.
Toyota

A good session for us with Mark up in 3rd. Jacques was once again poor though and I can't see us retaining him for the 2007 season.

Manager change

I can confirm that Miki2000milos has taken over from Morgiman as manager of Spyker due to Morgiman's lack of activity.

BMW Sauber

Wow, that has never happened before, some mixed up results in quali! Anyway, 8th for Ralf and 13th for Nick, but we're surprised how the gap in Top 8 were. We hope we can deliver a good result in the race, but Ralf starting 8th might be a big threat from Mark in the Drivers Championship, so we need to focus for a great strategy.

Super Aguri

Surprised with the result that we're having with 17th and 18th for both of our drivers. Excellent performance and we hope we can battle for the midfield fight but we're gaining step by step. The race we hope it's going to be exciting but it could be difficult.
Honda
Good result from Felipe. Very good job, front row.
The Grand Prix will be posted tomorrow :)

Poor showing from both teams, exactly what we DIDN'T need with just 6 races to go. CC looks unlikely now

2007 Contract News

Ferrari have retained both Lewis Hamilton and Michael Schumacher as their race drivers with Yuji Ide being dropped from the test driver spot.

Toyota have also retained their race driver line up with Jenson Button one again pairing up with Mark Webber. Jacques Villenueve will leave the team though.

Fernando Alonso will once again drive for Renault. Jarno Trulli and Anthony Davidson have not had their contracts renewed.

BMW have retained their entire line up with Ralf Schumacher once again pairing up with Nick Heidfeld with Pedro De La Rosa on test driver duty.

Super Aguri have retained the services of Scott Speed and Frank Montagny but have terminated Nahrain Karthikeyan's contract.

Still no news from Williams, Mclaren, Red Bull, Spyker, Honda or Toro Rosso.
BMW Sauber

Pretty terrible day, with Ralf retiring due to a water leak but still leads the championship with Webber crashing into another car, which is good news. Also the news about our lineup we retain the whole lineup, Ralf is pretty impressed with the car and with his stay in next season as BMW driver is great news. Also great finish for Nick who took 6th place, but with his bad luck we retain him for next season to get his luck even better.

Super Aguri

AMAZING! We scored our first points of a dramatic race, Speed 8th and Karthikeyan 14th, unbelievable performance for Speed. We can be pretty happy with the result what we have now. On the news Speed shows how he's the good driver to be retained in Super Aguri next season. Big result for our team.
Toyota

Gutted to see Mark crash out of the grand prix, he really had a chance to gain significantly on his title rivals. Good to see Jenson on the podium again for the second time in 3 races.
