I'm trying to get the game reinstalled, but when setting the game to 1080p, the cars appear like, well, like they were polished with a bucketload of bleach.
Any ideas? If I get this and the track working, I could possibly run the round. It would be in raw video though, as like I said in a post before, I have time and SW to record but not to edit.

Yep, forgot the ingame resolution. Set it to 1280x1024, and while at it edited car texture quality to 1. It did the trick and it looks fairly decent. Thanks a lot

Yep, forgot the ingame resolution. Set it to 1280x1024, and while at it edited car texture quality to 1. It did the trick and it looks fairly decent. Thanks a lot

Well my install works fine, track loads well, game runs in glorious 60fps smoothness, the only thing left is that xSplit Gamecaster refuses to load in GP4. If anyone has ideas, much appreciated. Don't think it's a widely used tool around here but... worth a shot. In my experience with it it's lightyears ahead of Fraps.
Only issue I saw with the track was that in the parade lap some cars stopped in turns 3 and 4 and caused a traffic jam. Funny but not game breaking. Another funny anecdote is that on the test race I run Mr. Maverick started from pole and finished around 6th. It was a quick race

Welcome to rather sunny Zandvoort, where several Dutch drivers compete today in the training session. The weather report shows that we can expect a dry and fair session.
One must be wondering, what JHR was thinking when they sent out both their drivers right behind each other. Hopefully that won't cost them in the end, but maybe it's also part of a strategy?
The first results are coming in.
Maybe the strategy actually worked? Collins takes the provisional pole, at least.
While Moinet might yet have suffered.
Sheppard with the new pole time!
Only for Ingers to snatch it away with a very fast time!
Stoddart completes the first group of drivers, time for a provisional look at the standings.
Silva later starts the first stint of the second group with a mediocre time.
Scala is very close to Ingers! But not quite yet fast enough for the pole.
One local hero, De Boer is also close to Ingers, but can't just make it.
Greidanus IS fast enough! One of the local heroes sits in pole for now!
The second stints don't see many improvements, but here is the list of the few that manage to improve their positions, without direct effect on the front rows, however.
This means, congratulations to Ruben Greidanus for his win in the Free Practice of his home Grand Prix here in Zandvoort! See you back soon for the qualifying of the main field drivers.

So sad to see the end of GPGSL-3, it's a great series but yeah thanks for the memories. 
Good result for Stu, not so good for Chris, I'm afraid. Unfortunately, like most others, he couldn't improve in the second stint.
Generally speaking, I'm quite frustrated with GP4 right now. I spent literally the whole afternoon trying to get any screenshot program to work. DxTory crashes the game with the first shot, FRAPS (both trial and full) either crashes the game as well or simply doesn't trigger a screenshot (depending on the version), MSI Afterburner doesn't trigger a screenshot either and various other programs only work with the desktop windows but not the game. Tried the game both fullscreen and windowed, both to no avail. Eventually, I went for the only option left, that is using the Windows screenshot with autosave on the Dropbox. This doesn't give very nice pics, though, and is also quite complicated in regards to the race. So if anybody has another idea, I'm always grateful to hear it. Especially so, in regards why FRAPS is so crashing-happy my GP4.exe or not making screenshots at all.

John, I always use F11 gpxpatch for screenies and then a little old program called Free Image Converter. Converts and resizes many images at once.
