For the first time today I tested the MOD under wet conditions .The rain comes inside the car in most of the available cameras . Something can be done or it's not possible to sort out due to GP4 's features ?

I am not sure but originally, the game was made for F1, so I fear that it isn't possible to avoid rain drops inside a covered cockpit... but maybe I am wrong... Better is to see with authors from previous DTM mods or from others series...
But what you can do is to disable rain drops on the visor into your f1graphics file, first... It would be a bit more realistic.

Otherwise, the mod looks great... I would just suggest you to add 2 ambient lights behind your cars for rainy weather conditions, also...but it is up to you ;-)

Thank you Arnaud for the suggestions . I supposed that the rain drops inside the covered cockipt cannot be avoided because the same happens in other covered MODs which I looked at .
Could please explain me what exactly means 2 ambient lights behind the cars for rainy weather conditions and how to do that .

If you look at the back of your car, you can see only 1 ambient light when it rains. It is fine for F1, as it has got only 1 rear light... But when you have got 2 rear lights, like for DTM cars, it would be more realistic to get 2 ambient light close the rear lights...

I remember that davegp4 asked the question some time ago. Here is my answer. hope that you will get the answers you need ;-)

Understood Arnaud , however I have already set 2 rear lights and just 1 ambient light is working . Now I have set 4 rear lights in the tweaker and still just 1 ambient light :-(

EDIT : Back to 2 rear lights , changed the coordinates of the Rear Light #2 Ambient Position and the problem is solved . By the way , I disabled the rain drops on the visor into the f1graphics file and now it's more realistic.

Hi Arnaud , AUS_DOUG made an amazing set of tyres for the DTM MOD based on the tyres made by you for the F1 . The BMW's wheel are not completely ready , he is still working on the wheel to have something like the wheels of the Mclaren and Force India . Here what I mean :





However , I have had a problem exactly with the BMW tyres , I have set the rimscolor.ini with the colour #0A0A0A ( black colour ) because this is the colour of the BMW tyres in the real DTM . Setting the black colour , this is what I got :





Changing to a white or a clear colour in the rimscolor.ini , the things work well . Have a look :










I would like to choose diferent colours for the wheels depending of each car but don't know how to solve the problem . Do you know why this has been happening ?

I'm so sorry for not having replied you , too much headache with this MOD . The wheels are working well now , thanks to you , AUS_DOUG and Excalibur . Now I'm trying to make the lower lods without sucess so far .

Yeah Arnaud , I'm trying to do following your tutorial , in 4 hours I did 2 lods of 1 car :-o . Hope to finish all the lods of the first car and try it to see if will work .

Hi Arnaud , I managed to create the lower lods for 2 cars so far , this is really a boring work ;-(

If you created the lower lods for the first car of the team, just rename the texture files from the lower lods for the 2nd car. Shouldn't take that long right?
