Sound problem Megapack F1 1998

I have a sound problem whit this mod. Here is what i hear in the game. All other mods work fine. ( [www.youtube.com] )

To me this sounds like a link problem between the samples and the engine.txt file. As if the engine.txt was just wrong. Send me the game_snd.bnk and the EngineData folder and I'll take a look

I have same problem in all Megapack season mods. Hopefully someone can fix the problem...

I'm experiencing this issue too!

That's an issue with engine.txt in the samples folder for that car, If you look at the samples 1a and 4a you will see that the high rev band is too high, I sorted this by using the the folder from another mod using the same physics rev range. Hope this help

@ Briere. I do not now how i must do it. It aint going to happen. But thx anyway. @ Munnzy. I do not now how i must do this. I am only a user of the game. Thank you to. There are more people whit the same problem i see.

I want to try this. But how do you now which physics rev range som folders hold? All the cars have the same problem. please help.

if i new how to do that. Then i would send it to you

I test the sounds in two different computers and run without problems. And this is my problem, because if i don´t see in any of my computers the fail, i can make a fix. arrrgggghhh.

By the way. Ever exist the "solution" of cancel the sounds of the MOD. For it, go to the folder: (MEGAPACK F1\Data\Sounds) and change the name of the folder (For example: SoundsBACKUP). The MOD runs with the original GP4 sound.

So now i have managed to change the sound and the engine teks file and the physics of the mod. I have sound. Not the original. But satisfying. Thank you all for help. I am a happy man now.

Copy the engine.txt file from an other mod in Grand Prix 4\GPSAVES\Carsets\MEGAPACK F1\Data\Sounds\FERRARI F300\EngineData\Preset1_Cockpit. And Preset2_OnCar. You can use also a sound file from the download section.
