Problem at the start of the race.

Hi!!!...Lately I am having a problem at the start of the race...the cars go in slow motion backwards (and my car doesn't speed up),and then all the engines break because of the high temperature it happens in differnet mods...any ideas?

For either of you, did this start happening after changing something, like installing a one of the new GPxPatch versions?

It happened from the installation of GpxPatch 4.40. The problem is the same as Damon explained. To solve it, I exit from the race, select a different driver and session, start again and then I exit and restart the race and everything goes fine.

Absolutely right, It started with GpXpatch 4.40, never happened before, and then it Works when I get out of the championship I select quick race and then go back to the championship season

Does it still happen with 4.42?

Yes, I found the problem and I'm working on a fix. The problem is already in your save game though.

The problem is not easily fixed. There's no spare room left in the save game to store the car specific power values. I'm thinking of ways to solve this, and one of them is to recalculate the car power values at the start of each session.

Yes, I prefer it too, as it enables you to adjust the performances between sessions during a weekend.

I've just solved the problem this way and everything seems to work fine now. It also means you can continue from your current save game that was saved with version 4.4x.
