I have released GPxPatch 4.41.

This includes a fix for GPxCInfo but also two new advanced options for GPxSAT, to control the number of cars shown and the format of the driver names in digital mode.

Gosh, Dutch is sooooo cute! ;) I still think the Zandvoort version for GP4 is bugged, but the language is something I really like ;-) (for all those wondering, it's an insider joke)

Back on topic, thanks for the quick fixes and all the work you put into GPx, SDI. Without you, this game wouldn't be what it is today.

Did something change in terms of bhp and skill values for the AI? Asking as I'm running AI only races, and after upgrading to v4.40/41 the order of teams is completely shaken.

This is the perf file used [pastebin.com]
With v4.30a, Prost and Williams were normally topping the quali sessions, as well as Jordan #5, Benetton #10 and Arrows #17.
With v4.41, Prost is always at the back end, Williams upper midfield at best.

TeamPower =1
TeamPowerType =0
But that shouldn't make any difference as no player car is involved I think?

tried these values for Prost, only brought #14 close to the top6, despite now superior values

Ok, I found it. The backward compatibility is broken :( The workaround is to use the new sections, but it's enough to append just this to the performance file:

[RacePower]
x=0

Looks like 4.41 will break the record of shortest ever lived GPxPatch version...

One more thing, for league directors: using car specific performance values (including the workaround above) will affect the CC checksum, even when both cars have the same performance.

Thanks for this amazing work René.

The team dependant grip value is what a was waiting for since the release of GP4 :)

But how does this feature calculate the grip of a car vs another?
Does it take the performance and var value of your teammate in the performance file, or both pilot?

I rather think it's your driver's ability+var values (if "Player car performance team dependent" is set to Grip or Power and Grip), but Rene will tell you the exact answer I think.

Well, actually it's not really team dependent, it's car dependent. Even the BHP is car dependent now. The setting simply applies the values from the performance file to the player too.

You can put this in gpxsat.ini:

[Digital]
DriverNameFormat=1

Then you will see the full driver name instead of initial plus surname.
