GPG Nations Cup S5 R17 - Off-season

French GP Qualifying results

Not surprising to be down in 16th with no boost, but Team Wales is hoping to move forward in the race.
Team China

9th. Decent, but could've been better. Also, with France on pole, hopefully this time around they'll be able to get the home victory. But if Cheng can get up into the pointy end, we'll be telling him to put the pressure on for sure.

22nd at the end of the race. I can't watch the video but apparently we were the only retirement. :(
The nightmare goes on and on and... :(

yeah :(

Around min4, Australia ran off track, made contact with you upon returning on track, sending you in a spin. Brazil crashed into you, taking off a wheel.

More solid points gratefully received. Some good overtaking action also

9th looks okay for us, so we leave French GP with 2 points. At least our pace isn't strong enough to cover those behind us so it was damage limitation for us. Although the race is good, not the result what we wanted but hopefully next race we score many points as possible and see what happens.
Stellar race by Grimaldi. Strong drive and a pit strategy à la Schumacher that was almost perfect. Good job boys, the boss is happy :)

(and on a side note good to see Team France on the podium as well. That makes two Renault engines on the podium of the race on the Renault test track)

Not bad with no boost I guess

GP3R weeks are a bitch, I didn't have time to call for some boost lol ;)
Finland
Poor showing, but we weren't expecting the late change of track, thus we were setup incorrectly. Not a big issue for us, we put in a bit but not that much, it leaves us in a strong position into the final rounds of the season where we can hopefully make up some ground.
10th. Pretty good with no boost!

Happy enough with a bronze medal, er i meant 3rd place.

Not the best race, yet nothing that we did not expect.
had hopes for placing a tad higher then 7th, still we take home a few points, more then most races this season!

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

Finally a good result, it was about time, now we try to finish inside tthe top 10
TEAM UAE

Another poor showing for the defending champ. Season has gone from bad to worse.
Monaco to leave the series ?

Since the official withdrawal announcement of the actual Team France at the end of the season rumour has it that Monaco's Team Principal Eric Moinet would leave Team Monaco and join forces with Team France's promoters, thus putting Team Monaco's future in jeopardy and more than likely eventually leaving the series. We thought French GP was the best place to ask for some clarifications on that topic.

Reporter : Can you confirm that to us ?
Eric Moinet : Herm... No.

Not much was expected with zero boost, but we could've hoped to be better positioned. Until we pack up a big perf, we're gonna be boost dependent. Rough races coming up now I suppose.
