Love the last screenshot. The wheels are looking neat also.

I will correct the GIMP layers and sent the finished livery tommorow, no more messing around, promise!

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
Video showing WIP sound. If the league admins agree, I'll make the final touches and send you the files :)

Canada early with the pre season testing.....
The French are well underway with their livery for the upcoming season, and will meet the deadline comfortably. Expected formal delivery to GPGNC in around 1 weeks time, we expect.

Also, the French would like to nominate Le Mans Bugatti again as their chosen circuit, narrowly beating a bid to use the Renault Test Track.

Hard to tell actually. This is my source file :

it's probably just 500 rpm and probably just my taste (or I got used to the F1 V8's :P). I think the engine is just that little underrevved.

The lack of revs in the lower gears seems to be due to shifting early (looking at the stwheel leds), in the higher ones it sounds fine.

Downshifting seems to be a bit off though.

The shortshifts are due to the slippery nature of the track ;)
But, yeh, the final touches are mainly intended for downshift. My sound capture software also increases volume a fair bit so it makes the louder sounds appear worse than they actually are. Oh well, I have plenty of time to make it better :)
The sound is pretty good, so I don't mind if it ends up being used.

This has reason, trust me. A RD puts in a lot of time for running the race & doing the coverage, and I can tell you from personal experience that you won't find much motivation to do the coverage for a dull race (Oran Park S3 in my case). I don't see a problem with the Hungaroring, but it'll probably be the new layout (again personal experience, ran the S2 race there).

I know it has a reason.
I chose the old layout for that one chicane they removed before the penultimate corner. But could be the tighter and flatter turn 1 makes a difference for overtaking so I can understand that.

I liked that one as well. And you got the reason, longer s/f-straight and tighter turn 1 make for more overtaking.
