17th doesnt give us a great deal of hope, but at a track where we just dont know what to expect, who knows? Points could be on the table, if things fall Girard's way......

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
13th without boost is to be expected, still always hoping to find myself in the top 10 to begin with ;)

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!

GPG Super League S11 | Driver #41 | Team-manager | Snake Motorsports Racing Group | Next Race: Emmeloord - Flevoland GP | Constructors: 10th | Best Race Finish: 1st
GPG Super League Season 9 Testers Champion*
A top 10 while unboosted is way more that what we were expecting, now the goal is to keep the points finish until the end. Stay out of trouble and bring 'er home.

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
I'm having problems with my connection and it should be restored in a week.

My GPGSL Career
After this round I hope I can race as Ireland in this series, depends whether Montenegro is active or not.

Race has been run, shall upload the pics later today

Round 5 - Chinese GP - Zhuhai - Race Day Pt 1

After some strong performances by home driver Cheng Tung, all the chineses here today are expecting a big win, Tung is the current leader of the championship, and with only he and Cremasco with a full boost today, he has great chances of winning the race

All the cars are ready to go, red lights are on

And here they go, Cremasco goes for the outside

Cremasco takes the lead, good start also by Couthard, he sits now in 3rd, and a yellow flag is on, let's see what happened

Seems like McGregor was trying a overtake on Rodriguez, but changed his line a bit too harshly, De Boer had nowhere to go, and contact was made

McGregor did go a little airborne

De Boer braked, and Ancevski didn't expected for that manouver

The Serbian drive has nowhere to go, and his front wheel hits the Dutch car, sending Ancevski airborne

As he goes down, his suspension is gone

And is end of race for Ancevski

Right in the second turn we have another problem, Silvestre forgot to hit the brakes, and hits Kuei

The impact sent reigning champion Hatfield into the sandbox, luckily he was able to return, but lost some positions

Tung is trying to get his position back from Cremasco

Vukcevic may be doing his last race of the season, and his mind doesn't seem to be in the right place as he loses the breaking point

He rejoins in last place

Cremasco with the fastest lap

Both Kuei and Silvestre are in for the pits, to fix the broken parts of their cars

A sad accident happened, a marshall was hit by McGregor's car

Vukcevic trying to regain some positions goes for the overtake against Hatfield

Good job by him

Here is how the top 10 stands after the first lap

Tung and Cremasco are already way ahead of the other cars, Coulthard and Ihara doesn't seem to be able to catch them

Silvestre returns in 20th and Kuei in 21st

Tafuro goes for a little walk outside of the track

He rejoins in 19th

Nikolov won the last race, but today his car is struggling to have a good pace, he goes for the overtake against Ana

And does a good job

Meanwhile Hatfield overtakes Vukcevic

Kederer is having a quietly race so far, without a boost he wants to keep it that way

Silva tries an overtake on Ana

He has no lucky and now may be facing Keranen

And Keranen manages to pass by Silva

Vukcevic once again outside the track

Silva tries to do a little payback on Keranen

But has no lucky

2 laps later it's Keranen's time to attack Ana

And he goes through

Grimaldi is right in the tail of Kederer

Oh no! Grimaldi brakes a little too late and hits Kederer

The German goes into the sand

And returns only in 18th

Grimaldi was able to continue in 5th

Silva tries to overtake Ana

And he is now in 14th

Briere is looking for a opening by De Boer[

He tries it

And has no lucky

Now he has to look out for Girard

Tafuro once again goes outside the track

As he is returning to the track, Kederer is passing by

That was a close one, almost a contact was made beetween them

Keranen tries to overtake Nikolov

No lucky though

We'll be back in no time

Round 5 - Chinese GP - Zhuhai - Race Day Pt2

We return just in time to see De Boer trying an overtaken on Mcgregor

The Dutch however has no lucky

Keranen was finally able to pass Nikolov, and sits now in 12th, a gain of 10 position

Hatfield is trying a overtake on Ana

But contact is made

And Ana ends up facing the wrong way

He rejoins in 18th

Briere is able to overtake De Boer without much problem

And in the next lap he goes for mcGregor's position

But contact is made, and both cars are now in danger

McGregor rejoins in 11th and Briere in 8th

But seems like they'll be gaining a position as we see smoke comig out of Rodriguez's car

Meanwhile Tung has the fastest lap

Rodriguez isn't able to take his car to the pits, and is now the second car to retire of the race, second DNF in a row for them

Top 10 after 20 laps, Great job so far by both Briere and Girard

Briere is the first one to stop

Everyone else is in for the pits, including leaders Brazil

Which means that Tung is the new leader, he need an amazing lap to return in front of Cremasco

Tung goes for the pits

As Cremasco is storming through the starting line we can see the Chinese car coming out of the pits

But Cremascos manages to stay ahead of Tung

After the rounf of pit-stops, here is how the standings are now, we can see that Girard lost some positions, and Keranen sits now in 8th, fantastic job by team Finland, starting in last place

As the race goes really quietly, we see that Cremasco is closing on Kuei, this might be the chance that Tung was expecting

The Chinese driver is already reducing the gap

But Cremasco is quickly in overtaking Kuei

But Tung is really looking for an opportunity, the gap now is less than 1s

And Cremasco will be facing more traffic ahead

As he goes for the overtake on Silvestre

But Silvestre is overtaking him back

The Brazilian won't be happy with this manouver of Silvestre, Tung pass by without much problem

And here it is, Tung goes for the overtake on Cremasc... no, wait... it's not Tung, it's just Vukcevic being lapped by Cremasco

As we see Tung closing on Vukcevic, a yellow flag is on

Nikolov has a problem with his transmission, and it's off

Briere and Keranen doing some great job today, Keranen gained 14th positions

Tung wasn't able to close on Cremasco, and the Brazilian wins the Chinese GP, it is the first win for Brazil since season 1, and the second for Cremasco, he had won one with team Mexico in season 3

Tung finished in 2nd, 4th podium in 5 races for him

Coulthard finished in 3rd

Briere had a problem after the race, but did manage to finish in 7th

Podium:

Quite happy with Girard to come home in 10th - kept out of trouble, whilst others found it themselves. Good day for the French.

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
Team China

We gave it our all in the race, but in the end it seem Team Brazil were just better than us. At least it helps keeps Cheng in the championship lead, and we've probably increased it as well. Now to look ahead to the next round.

First of all we like to apologize to Milos for his DNF. I had no choice to let the throttle go to avoid spinning in front of the field, the Australia car forced our hands in this!

But we are very happy to have only substained minor damages to the car and were able to keep going! 6th is an amazing result for us and will be cherised!

If you are racing, keep on racing and get some points!
