well I've done the editing, now I just need to find a suitable time to commentate.

though I must apologise as the video quality and in-game quality are low, but I've worked a lot on optimising it and I've raised the quality significantly for round 2. (unless it rains lol)

here's the written recap I promised to do. If you want to watch the race, please don't read below!

Adam had a good qualifying, managing P6. He also had a crash on his second run at turn 5.
He got a decent start, dropping one place to Frentzen. Tried around the outside of turn 1 but touches Frentzen, in the slipstream couldn't overtake into turn 3 as Frentzen was moving accross the track. Had a dive into turn 9, got past on the exit of 10 on traction.
Later dive up the inside of Trulli after he had been overtaken by Barichello and lost momentum leading onto turn 3. Trulli went defencive but he still commited to the inside line, little touch.
Mistake at turn 3, running wide after I was watching a replay few secs earlier I looked at the 50m board as the 100m board. Cost me 2 secs but no places.
Mistake into turn 5, running wide but managing not to spin out. Trulli doesn't need a second invitation.
Spin into turn 5, got stuck onto the wall, lost 20 seconds, down to P12
Lengthy pitstop, 11.6 secs. Suprising for only 20l of fuel (I was on 2-stop)
Lap 28, transmission/electrical failure. Got stuck in 3rd gear, made it back to the lane. Next lap, I touch the grass on the entry of 5, frustrations getting to me. I lose the right rear tyre, and retire on the spot.
Teammate salvaged 1 point after a very poor day in my side of the garage at least some light for Williams. Hoping for better in Malaysia.

Why does the car have a V8 sound?

Good job, shame about turn 5 as I know from my own experience how much of a pain that corner can be. In fact in my own 100% series that I never released I also retired there!

One main thing about the video is it's worth turning down the volume of the game in editing. It's nice to have the noise of the cars but if you're commentating it should be background and not drown you out like it did a few times. I often change GP4 footage volume to about 10-15% simply because the engine note whilst in t-cam is pretty loud and the commentary needs to be clear.

Why didn't you get back to the pitlane again? It is even possible to go on when two wheels are gone (rear left and front right or rear right and front left; both front you can drive but not steer, that's very difficult to get back then; both rear it's completely impossible to go on). I think it makes sense not to retire with three or two wheels when driving a 100% race. That's my opinion. Discuss.

Results after Rd.2

Wow, this is cool.

My own 100% race distance experiences are limited to a whole race weekend in Interlagos with the vanilla game (FP1, FP2, etc.).

What I realised is that a) it takes as much an engineering/mechanic brain as a driver brain to succeed when you have to deal with the delicacies of level 2 advanced car setup (I played on Ace level), and b) it takes the meaning of the words 'commitment', 'concentration', 'endurance' to whole new levels doing a 100% race distance. It's the best part of 1 & a 1/2 hours of intense concentration and I found out the hard way how just a single mistake can ruin your meticulously pre-planned weekend. (I actually crashed into a lapped car, got back into the pits on three wheels for repairs and still salvaged 4th or 5th as far as I remember - I had much better pace than the AI, so I used that to climb back up the order.)
