first pitlane sector is interesting as I loaded the track before and it didn't cause a crash, and it's the same with the bank descriptions. I'll see what I can do

okay thanks for the tips Atticus - the track loads now, a bit laggy but it still loads so I'm happy :-)
it's interesting too because the track also loads the sky aswell now, before it didn't load the sky if I didn't have a player car.
thoguh I haven't completed the last 2 tips yet, dunno about sector 0 but will do the pitlane track flags

Beware to extreme bankning :
- if placed on start line, your car could slip down by itself while waiting for lights to light green
- anywhere on the track : player car and AI car banking orientation are different and you could get weird AI cars positions while running through this high banked sections.

well the track has a highly banked and slow section (just above -10) just before the second sector.

alright guys, I've done the .dat file, including the CC-line.
But I have a different issue now.



yeah yeah.. everything is fine so far.. but then, BAM!





so basicly.. where is my track gone?
It disappears in some places, basicly everywhere apart from the 2nd part of this straight, and the SF straight. It also disappears from the TV cameras.
Gp4 Builder doesn't see any issues with my .gp4 file.
also you can see this is basicly the same part of the track, just look at the laptime. (21.3 in 1st pic, 21.7 in 2nd pic)

why is this happening and how can I fix this?
If needed I can upload my .wad file

Well, main problem is that your .gp4 is not a track .gp4.
I mean, a track .gp4 as a SUN section and a PVS section. Yours havn't. It means you started from a car .gp4 and imported objects in it and of course, in game result isn't the same.
So the first thing to do would be to export each and every scene of your track in a separate .gp4 file.
Then open a copy of the original hockenheim (as your track goes in this slot) and reimport each of your scènes.
Then delete original scènes and use this .gp4 in your .wad

Forget what I said earlier, there isn't any other mesh interfering with the track.

To flip your track upside down, select Edit -> Invert -> Z Coordinates.

Also, be sure to create .bin and .col files from the menu File -> Convert .dat.
