Pitcrews

Hi guys, I just wanted to ask about the pitcrew textures, Are they connected to the 2001 order or is it track dependant?

I changed the colours to what I wanted but they didn't come out with the correct teams.

For example I made one to match the benetton colour from the 90's and it shows on team 1 instead of the correct team in my order or carshapes and teams.

pitcrews are related to the teamorder of the seasons. You can choose for every season the original gp4 teamorder 2001, or you can change the teamorder to the realistic f1 season teamorder. Then you have to change the pitrews to the correct teamorder aswell. It means in 2001 there's ferrari the first team and in 1993 there's Williams the first team, so you have to change the williams pitcrew to ferrari, to get them in first place

yes, it's very simple, because you only have to change the names of the pitcrew and engin tex files to the teamorder of your season

I think I did that but must of gone wrong somewhere, I'll look into it

Changing the pitcrew-textures always makes me crazy, so I gave up on it. I know exactly how to make it but nevertheless I never got them into the right order.

So I'm guessing it's basically trial and error unless I can get GP4 master v1.0 or GP4 Util patcher, Done a search for both and can't find either

2013 order (as example)
Red Bull -> pitcrew_ferrari.tex
Ferrari -> pitcrew_mclaren.tex
McLaren -> pitcrew_williams.tex
Lotus -> pitcrew_benetton.tex
Mercedes -> pitcrew_bar.tex
Sauber -> pitcrew_jordan.tex
Force India -> pitcrew_arrows.tex
Williams -> pitcrew_sauber.tex
Toro Rosso -> pitcrew_jaguar.tex
Caterham -> pitcrew_minardi.tex
Marussia -> pitcrew_prost.tex


Edit: Benetton of course, Renault was 2002.

Ok I figured out what the problem was, Looked in TeamEditor and found that the original order was selected as 1994 and not 2001.

Could the mods please close this topic at some point
