I'm also guessing but it has got to do with compression when converting to .tex
It is either DXT1 or DXT5, hopefully someone with more experience on the matter can tell you which one it is.

Has to be DXT5 Full Transparency :) Oh and sorry for the lack of response about this project, I'm very busy in my personal life. As a matter of fact, I don't know anything about internal wheel, but I can help with external wheel though :)

If you want to move those you have to edit the cockpit.gp4 where you'll find all the single icons and digits as objects. Just move them around in there.

best regards
chris

Is there a way in GP4Builder to see a kind of preview using the textures so i can acutally see what i'm doing in relative to in game?

Try putting the TGA files for the wheel into the same folder as the GP4 file - it should then hopefully display them in GP4Builder

Ok this is what I have come up with. Still messing around with a few bits to get them to be shown properly..

Is there a way to change the rev LED's into something else?? I was wanting to change it into a rev bar but I could do with a few pointers...

maybe putting the black letters and ciphers in yellow would help to show them properly... just a thought. ;-)

Good idea Brett but I'll make the screen a little lighter, I was actually meaning the F for the fuel where it's in the wrong place and missing a bit LOL... Those LED's are becoming a bug bear to get them to be something else.....Been searching around for help on that one but not seen much yet on how to modify those.

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone can help me with this. I made another steering wheel. I have been going throuhg in gp4 builder also so I can get everything I want but as you can see it seems that the LCD?? is in front of the screen maybe and I was wondering if there was a way to move the original information on the wheel to a high position. Included is a screenshot to explain what I mean.

What a bummer... a little bit higher and it was perfect I think... why doesn't it always work from the first time?

Great job so far Tim, they look great your steering wheels ! ;-)

I have fixed the issue Brett my friend and now I just have a couple of things to sort out with it and it will be ready to go and better than my first attempt at it... Not as good as most of the guys out there but that might come in time with practice.
