Guys I really need some help...

So I'm modding Tom's 2012 CSM mod, and run into issues with the tyre compounds.

What do I need to do to make the grid have a mixture of tyre compounds? I can do this in the 2014 mod by changing the performance file to contain the following lines and placing the 2014 tyre textures by Excalibur into the data\tyres\threads\xxx file (medium and soft textures - into the mediumsoft folder and so on). This then means I can choose which driver has which compound.

I have downloaded the 2012 tyres, but the same trick doesn't work, so can anyone advise what I need to do?

Thank you

If you've got what you want working with the 2014 mod, just copy the whole Tyres folder to 2012 and do the same thing there?

never thought of that, but the 2012 tyres by Hega only contain textures for medium and supersoft I think?

Also, does my performance file look ok for the gpxpatch 4.30

Tom, can I ask a huge favour?

Do you think you could make your 2012 csm mod have a mixture of tyre compounds on the grid, as described above? If you would be able to upload the file changes that would be great.

Currently all the grid use the softer compound at every track. I pretty sure there is a way to change this so there is a mix (with the graphics just changing, but the underlying compound still all being soft). I've tried myself but I can't figure out the file structure, and the 2012 tyres I've download appear to only contain supersoft and medium so I can't just drop these in.

Thanks!

I think it's hardcoded anyway, so no chance at all
