Info on controller and mods

Hi guys, maybe it has been already asked, but i was wondering if there's a way to set a dead zone for the xbox controller, and also if is it possible to configure buttons in order to look back or at least on your left and right ( i don't see any string about it in the configuration of a custom controller).

I also have some problems with the installing of the mod, with the CSM. In the 1997 one for example, i see the driver's arms and the Mclaren's tyres white (even changing the detail from 0 to +1 in the graphic options), in the 2003 one i cant exit from a race 'cause the game freezes, while in the 2002 mod the game crashes to desktop showing a runtime error.

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit, with GP4 1.02 version (set on windows XP compatibility) and the Gpx patch installed.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
