Fantastic car!

I have a question though. When using a csm mod, I can easily insert the skin no problem, but how do I adjust the wheel/tyre positions?

I can tweak them in game, but want the change to be permanent. It would be good to know what the wheel positions co ordinates are and where I should enter these on Tom's 2014 csm mod to make the change permanent.

Thanks

Thanks for all your comments, guys ;-)

@RHill: Yes, you have to adjust the tweaker positions, as each car has got differents proportions, regarding the lenght and width.
To get the changes permanent, you must use GP4_tweaker (gp4_tweak data folder) and edit the different .ini files, like the tyrepos.ini etc....
You can also use Team Editor by Lo2k to edit the performances, cams, St wheel and helmets positions (also tyres but better is to use gp4 tweaker for this , as team editor save the tyres positions for all the cars, not car by car). The good thing with team editor is that there is a 3d viewer so you can immediately see your changes ).
Personnaly, I am using both gp4 tweaker (for tyres and rear light positions) and Team editor for performances, cams and st Wheel and helmets positions.

Note, that if some tweaks are enabled into the gp4tweak.ini file, Team Editor can't overwrite the positions. Example: for me, just tyrepos.ini and rearlight_break.in are enabled into gp4tweak.ini . then I can use team editor to edit the others positions.

Also, a useful tool by Gezere is Teditor_tweaker conversion (a .xls file) that allows you to convert the positions from Team Editor to gp4_tweaker: [www.mediafire.com]
Finally, the other way to set your positions is to use RTedit but to make the changes permanent, you will have to save each positions manually before to write them into the gp4 tweaker .ini files.

Like it seems that you are using a CSM mod, I think that all the .ini files are enabled so editing positions with Team Editor won't change anything. But you can use it with teditor_Tweaker.xls file to convert your positions before to overwrite the gp4_Tweak .ini files.
of the mod.

I haven't got a complete tweaker settings for the McLaren but I can give you the tweaker settings I am using:

Tyres positions:
FrontRight= 0.7200, -0.2292, 1.2700
FrontLeft = -0.7200, -0.2292, 1.2700
RearRight = 0.7300, -0.2292, -2.2230
RearLeft = -0.7300, -0.2292, -2.2230

Rear_light position:
= 0.0000, -0.1585, -2.8609 (don't forget to edit it for the second driver of the team, too).

I hope that these informations will be useful for you. And maybe TomMK will make a complete tweaker settings for this car, if he has got the time... ;-)

Yep I will post the positions file for this car (and all 2015 cars) on GP4 Central soon. At the moment I am obsessing over a bug in Magic Data I found while messing around with Mexico City. Once I've finished with that, I'll do these positions :)

No Hurry, Good Luck with the Mexico City ! To answer some members question about the red and white Mclaren livery of the 80's it was a Marlborough's livery not Mclaren or Honda. They experimented with a Yellow version in 86 with Keke Rosberg. Black Silver and Red, is in the fact the teams offical colours for last decade. They should replace the red with Orange as a tribute to Bruce.

Hi I'm sorry if I ask a silly question but do you make these models from scratch? And what kind of poly are they? Assuming you use a 3d program?
