Missing marshals and pit crews [fixed, they've returned to work]

Wondering if anyone can help me, I have done a tad bit of modding of my GP4 nicely I felt, but somewhere and somehow I have lost my animated marshals and pit crews.
Can anyone help?
I may have turned them off somewhere, or can it be a graphics problem (unless I am running the game too high I can't see how).

If anyone has ever had this problem?

you need to have these both line settings in your f1graphics.cfg, to get the pitcrews working properly

1 ; Animation rendering mode. (0 - cheap lighting, 1 - proper lighting, 2 - VS) v2

11 ; [MAIN VIEW] Draw X objects in pit lane (0 => off, else max number of 'teams' to draw)

both of those are in and correct...

Mine disappear if in the sim/options/graphics I set pit crew to highest they are invisible.
On high no problems
