Screen resolution in GP4

Hi all,

A quick question on screen resolution. Can someone tell me how to select it? In game my resolution does not show as an option.

Some csm mods enable me to select it and all works great, but what if there is not an option to change in the csm tool, is there another way to select the resolution you need?

Hi

It is determined by the first 3 lines in your f1graphics.cfg file

First one has to be set to 1 to enable it like so
1 ; f1graphics.cfg controls all settings (default 0)
1680 ; [RELEASE] Game 3D Horizontal Resolution
1050 ; [RELEASE] Game 3D Vertical Resolution

You then set the next two at the resolution you want

In a CSM mod sometimes they include their own f1graphics.cfg in various resolutions for you to choose from
But many times the other settings may not be what you want optimally for your graphics card & PC specs so
many use their own .cfg file which is always located in your root level of the GP4 folder
