Carset update issue

Hi everybody

I am a GP3 long time player and I recently installed GP4. I downloaded carset, each composed of 7 files (6 texture files and 1 .gp4 file). The .GP4 file is a "0" level of details. When I a playing, the cars look good just when I am near them, but then took their 2001 aspect. I presume the problem is related to the level of details, but I don't know how to solve it.
Can anyone help me ?

You'll either need to set the carset to use Lod_0 only files or copy that lod_0.gp4 file 4 times and make them lod_1, lod_2, lod_3 and lod_4 as well. That will solve the issue. Obviously making the carset use Lod_0 is a lot easier. More seasoned carset creators can expand on this, but this will solve your issue.

If you don't use CSM, you can force lod_0 with TeamEditor. Go to the carshapes tab, and check the force best carshapes box at the bottom.

Thank you, it worked, but I have an other problem, as my game crash to desktop after a few seconds. I have the log file but I don't understand it

Did you set Compability mode XP SP3 and run as admin for both gp4.exe and gpxpatch.exe?

Run it in the compatibility mode for XP SP3 seems to be working, thank you for everything !
