Sorry for the lack of coverage, but real life, a stag night, a massive hangover and a small matter of a F1 World Championship decider got in the way ;)

Race Day - Part Three

Final installment of the German GP and we are part way through the pitstops. Maverick is currently leading having not stopped yet.

Gilson in 3rd.

Maverick pits, as does Pedersen, but as the Dane entered the pitlane, he held up Gilson.

Onto the straight and Greidanus attacks Gilson for the lead.

Greidanus leads the race.

Maverick rejoins from the pits in 8th.

But is soon passed by Schieder.

Gilson looks to hold on to the Shadow's rear wing.

Schieder defends as Maverick looks for a way past.

Oh no! Maverick tags Schieder from behind.

The AMR goes into a spin.

He loses 2 places in his spin.

Schieder remains in 8th, but under pressure from van Renselaar.

The gap looks quite large between Greidanus and Gilson, but it's only 0.635s.

Greidanus extends his lead slightly.

Maverick attacks Nell for one of those two places he lost in his incident with Schieder.

And he makes it through.

Pedersen is out, but the camera's miss it.

Lap 15. Here's the standings so far.

Five laps remaining and Greidanus now leads by eight tenths.

Legge passes Moinet.

Moinet must have a problem, because Allington passes too.

Warrington runs wide.

That will be why Moinet is being passed so easily.

He's out with a water leak.

Close action between Schieder and van Renselaar.

Van Renselaar passes Schieder as the leader approaches the end of another lap.

Still close between the front two runners.

Into the last lap and Gilson has closed to 0.358s.

Gilson right up the gearbox of Greidanus.

He's going for the lead.

He's done it! That must be heart breaking for Greidanus.

Gilson wins the German Grand Prix.

Greidanus 2nd.

Kederer 3rd.

Jalving 4th.

Elleker 5th.

Greenhalgh 6th.

Congratulations to Gilson and SCR, winners of the German Grand Prix.

A decent enough first race in Snake colours...we didn't have the pace for points, but I'm pleased with how it went for us.

I can imagine Ruben's gutted! Good move by Joe to clinch the win at the death, but Shadow looked on form today...I guess I didn't help affairs after the pit window! Sorry fellas!

Good race for us!!

GPGSL-3: champion in 2007/2013/2014!
GPGSL-4: testdrivers champion in Season 11!
Great victory for Joseph. And with the MPRs in 4th and 6th, that gives him the championship advantage. 2 rounds left to go, and anything can and will happen, so it's not over yet.

Dreadful, I knew I should've boosted. Power lacking all weekend, now really eager to get to France, have some coffee and tartlets and bounce back!

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
Really unbelievable what happened here after the strong qualifying performance. I expected a tough race before, but this really beat it! That spin was then only a consequence of me trying to squeeze some power out of this car! Even a Trabant drives better and quicker than my car today!

Nonetheless, congrats to Gilson for another deserved race win. This way the championship is going to stay very open and that's only good for the series.

Losing 1st place in the final round, unbelievable! Damn those tyres, wish I made the pit stop a lap later. I'm gutted.

I'm a total dick. How many people can say that?
A difficult race for us for sure, stuggeling with the tyres in the first stint. I really wanted to get a podium here, a well deserved win for Gilson thought.. I was hoping to close the gap here, that didnt happen but I managed to stay close.

2 round remaining, if I can fight untill the last race for the championship anything can happen..

Ohh MPR now officialy in the GPG CL finals! :-) This also means MPR has managed to take a bigger lead over SCR in the standings, eventhough anything can happen!

When looking at the standings I see Gilson has a pretty big lead, will be very difficult! Not impossible though

Looked like my pace was actually pretty strong just couldn't get through the field fast enough.

Yes! Very very happy with that! (H) Excellent job by the team in the pits as well. (Y)

Hoping for another good result in France now.
