9th on my first qualy, I'm quite satisfied with the result

Probably the perfect qualifying session! Hopefully we as a team haven't peaked too soon this weekend haha.

Not for me, I've been driving here since my youngest days ;)

Wow, that sucked a big lemon for our boost filled Demons.

Poor qualifying for the team, hope we can make up for it in the race.

Suggestion: In real life, some testers also race in lower series such as GP2, GP3, etc. Will test drivers get to race in a lower division too in the future along with the friday free practises? Maybe teams on the waiting list should get a chance in that lower division too? ;)

@miki2000milos,
Test drivers race at the discretion of the Race Director, these events are known as Feature Races and are dependent on the time that an RD has on a race weekend. Points are awarded for the qualifying positions as if it was run as a normal event. The running of a feature race gives the testers screenshots which are not normally shown due to time constraints.
New drivers entering the series start in the test series and are promoted to a race seat when and if a vacancy occurs.
Your team has been added to the rather lenghty waiting list.
After the completion of round 17 at Silverstone, the GPGSL goes into the off season. The GPGSL announces a deadline starting date for the next season and team/s that fail to produce updated liveries run with the GPGSL Car of Shame. A team that shall remain nameless has made this somewhat of a tradition in the past. :-)

So even though I'm not competing as a team yet I have to submit a team livery?

And I'm interested to see the looks of that car of shame ;)

I think the two AMR drivers may have been guilty of delivering some pizzas on their qualy laps!

5 x WCC - S5, S6, S7, S8, S10 | 4 x WDC - S5 Nick van der Voort ; S6, S7, S8 Ed Greenhalgh | 2 x WTC - S6 Stuart Ingers; S8 Andrei Sevastian
Well done Eric! Fantastic result for us at JHR. Hoping I can move forward during the race.

Anyone in foreign lands have such a thing as this, a Doritos crust pizza?:

Delivering? The pizzas are all mine! Ate a slice after every corner, probably not my best idea but it was one of my tastiest ideas

quite happy with 11th, glad to see my new teammate up in 9th! Lets hope we can climb a few places in the race! =)

No, only when you have a team entry. Don't worry about it now!

GPGSL Rd 16 French GP – Race Day

Part 1

Hello once again. We are now set for the main event for this weekend. It’s race day here in Dijon, and there is a lot at stake here for the three championship contenders in the penultimate round. In qualifying yesterday, we witnessed Greenhalgh take pole position, which gives him 1 valuable championship point. We also saw Jalving take 2nd position, making it a MPR 1-2 and putting them both in a good position to wrap up the constructors championship. As for our championship leader, Gilson had a shocking qualifying session, so he and SCR will be hoping for much better luck here today. Anyways, it’s now time to head trackside as the cars are now returning from their warmup lap.

Weather Report

The cars have all returned from their warmup lap and are lined up on the grid. Greenhalgh is on pole, with Jalving alongside. When the lights go out, it’s racing time.

The race is on!

There are a lot of position changes heading into the first corner.

The rear of the field is quite close to each other.

Greenhalgh took the lead into the first corner, and Jalving is behind. That would be considered a great start for the team.

Van Renselaar takes first blood in the battle for the fastest lap.

As we go onboard with Jalving, the split shows that Greenhalgh has extended his lead.

Nell is doing the best he can to try and get by Kittleson’s Snake.

From Allington’s view, we can see that Nell has managed to get by.

Here is how the current top 10 have moved.

We have a yellow flag situation.

This seems to be the reason for it. Elleker has run off the road and hit the barrier.

The replay shows what happened.

As the marshals work to remove Elleker’s broken AMR, let’s take the chance to see the current standings.

Greenhalgh now takes the fastest lap.

We have a battle taking place between Legge and Moinet.

It would seem the battle was over before it began, as Legge now has to defend from Rodriguez and at least a few other cars.

Sometimes, the cameras can give really good angles of the cars, as seen here with Rodriguez.

Up the road, Greidanus is trying for a pass on Scala.

And it looks like the Shadow driver has done it.

Another move has been made, this time being Rodriguez getting by Legge.

Karjalainen is doing all he can to keep up with Cartwright.

We go onboard with McCarthy as he tries to draw up alongside Maverick’s AMR.

However, the AMR proves to be just a bit quicker, and McCarthy ends up staying behind.

While Greenhalgh and Jalving are controlling the race out in front, Gilson is stuck down the rear end of the field. This is not good for Gilson’s championship hopes.

With the race now 6 laps in, here are the current standings.

Rodriguez is attempting a pass on Moinet.

And the One driver has managed to make it stick.

Here is the middle of the field.

Pedersen currently sits in 13th.

Legge is under attack from Cremasco.

It would appear that we have a train starting to form up behind Cremasco.

Greenhalgh continues to extend his lead.

Jalving also has a buffer between himself and Van Renselaar.

Scala is next in line for Rodriguez to make a pass on.

He has a look up the inside.

Unfortunately, Rodriguez isn’t able to get by.

Horvath and Pedersen have swapped positions.

As we focus in on Maverick, let’s check out the current standings.

It’s time now for our first break. We hope to be back as soon as possible.

CR: Yaah I know, don't start to boss me, I'm working

Stats: 139 Starts / 7 Wins / 9 Poles / 5 Fastest laps
Tommi really moved forwards in a flash, hopefully he can sneak in for a top 10, Norbert isn't too far away either

Clean first part of the race! Ed's pace is amazing with the boost, trying to save tyres! Going for the victory will be difficult, but a 1-2 for MPR would be amazing..

Race starts: 141 | Points: 886 | Podiums: 35 | Race wins: 10

This time I'm innocent. I'm in Italy, remember? So whoever I'd driving this car so badly. it's not me.
