Unfortunately it is a big thing since tobacco advertisement is forbidden in most European countries and image filehosters often remove images with tobacco names on it. Don't ask me how they do it, but they do.

I can replace the adverts with other ones, but this will be ready tonight.

GPGSL Rd 16 French GP – Free Practice

Hello and welcome to the penultimate round of the season. We are finally back in Dijon, and this weekend could very well go on to help decide all of the championships. Well then, let’s get the weekend underway with the tester’s free practice.

Weather Report

First out to get the session underway is Michail in the first of the JHRs.

As such, she sets the benchmark time first.

Sheppard beats the time quite easily.

De Bruyker does his best, and slots into 2nd.

Jalving puts in a time that is good enough for 3rd.

Shadow tester Thomas puts himself into 4th.

Mills puts the massive TNR boost to good use, and slots into 2nd.

Domenech must’ve had a bad lap to be 1 second off the pace.

De Boer once again shows exactly how fast his SCR can go by taking the fastest time of the session. That’ll surely help him in the tester’s championship.

Copeman, who is now back in a race seat, puts in a decent time to go 5th fastest.

McGregor on the other hand manages to go a bit better.

Nell puts in a laptime, but is unable to match his teammates speed and finds himself in 8th.

All the first runs for the first group of 11 drivers is now completed, so let’s see the current standings.

Hinz is out first for the second group, and it seems he is eager to either beat De Boer’s time, or at least match it.

Setting a time that is only good enough for 7th is not what the AMR tester would’ve wanted.

AMR owner Ingers goes 3rd fastest.

Hunsley in the second JHR can only manage 12th with his laptime.

Paddock puts himself inside the top 10 with his time.

Scala, who is doing double duty as well, puts his VSM into 7th.

Van Smirren demotes Scala down to 8th by going faster.

O’Brien sets his time, and despite having no boost to use it’s good enough for the SCR tester to slot into 2nd.

Stoddart puts in a laptime, but is unable to make it into the top 15.

19th for Kederer would be considered a poor result for the Shadow driver.

Kittleson is another driver to have had a disappointing lap.

TNR’s boost is working very nicely so far, which Keranen shows by going 6th fastest.

All drivers have now completed their first run, so let’s check out the current standings.

Just what is going on here in the pits between Kittleson and Keranen?

Michail gets the second runs underway for the first group.

She manages to improve on her previous time, but only moves up one position.

Copeman makes a big jump up the order.

Nell’s laptime sees the Demon driver improve up to 12th.

Domenech moves himself up from the bottom of the order to just outside the top 15.

Someone has managed to stand up and beat the SCRs, and it’s De Bruyker with a fantastic laptime. He’ll be most pleased with that lap.

Thomas improves on his previous best laptime.

All drivers in the second group have now completed both their runs, so let’s see the current standings.

Ingers gets the last runs underway, and it seems the timing bar has gone into malfunction as it no longer shows the split to the current leader.

It looks like Kederer has been held up by Hunsley, which is most likely going to affect his laptime.

Paddock improves, and puts himself up into the top 10.

Kittleson also improves, but only moves up a few positions.

All the runs are now completed, so let’s check out the final standings.

That marks the end of the free practice. Let’s give a big round of applause to Marcus De Bruyker and One Racing, winners of the free practice for Rd 16. It’ll be interesting to see how the tester’s championship will be affected by the outcome of the free practice. Anyways, it’s time to move onto qualifying next, so we hope to see you back here when we decide the grid for the race.

No boom! No gloom!

Jenson drives it like he owns it; Lewis drives it like he stole it
Ah the downside of having no boost is on show.
Wow, that's... Embarrasing...

Not bad, not so good..

My GPGSL Career
Well done Marc, congratulations. Im stunned, i`ve got 2 more points yeeeehhaaaaaa!

"If in doubt, Flat out."
Decent from Stu but a very hard blow for Chris' championship hopes with Maikel in 2nd. If I counted right, there is still the tiniest of chances if Chris wins and Maikel takes two or less points. But let's be honest ... not very likely to happen.
