Track Updating

Hey guys, I know this has probably been asked a million and one times. I recently got back into gp4 and I want to update the tracks including the slots they are in.

I have tried everything but I have had no joy with anything i try. Can someone tell me the easiest way to do this without TSM?

Some of the tracks change but some stay the same or disappear altogether.

I appreciate any help you guys can give me.

Many thanks

Tim

Ok I followed that guide with the various tracks i downloaded to use for the 2014 season.

I put them all into GPXPatch into the track set editor and it looks like this

[i191.photobucket.com]

But when I start gpx the tracks are still jumbled, yas marina is the first race but is actually sepang when you drive it.

The tracks don't seem to be what they say they are and the names are all wrong.

Is there something I'm not doing or doing wrong?

Hi Tim

In your picture you see where it says tracks2.set?

That is a file in your GrandPrix4/gpxdata folder
You need to edit it in any word type editor, notepad, wordpad etc. (set to open all files) to match your track order
Just follow its format & if you want you can name it tracks3.set & save as or overwrite the original

If you rename it then in GPxPatch/Tracks tab you need to point it to your new tracks3.set file

Good luck

Are all the tracks in separate folders? There should be only one .dat file and one .wad file per folder.

And have you got a settings .ini file for each track?
