F1/GP2 Manager - 2007 Season - American GP -F1 Race Page 34!

Switching from RB to Williams or Super Aguri doesn't appear too appealing, given the current ranking. As long as RB wants me as manager, I will give my best to get the team out of this misery. The engine (and driver) program suggestion sounds decent. Yet I agree that it sounds more like a long-term project. Plus, the program will probably help to mix up the midfield, but I have a feeling that it will actually make the gap between the front and the midfield even bigger. Cause what will probably happen is that the frontrunner teams still get their heavy bonuses while the midpack teams will battle with the backrunner teams and those teams will alternate with participation in this program, so that no midfield team can establish their midfield position to keep up to the hunt for the frontrunner teams.
So, I think the program is a good first step, but alone it won't have much of an impact on the overall series. It should help to avoid a real F1 situation with the new teams, however, so that no team should completely lose touch.

I still hope that paydrivers will be implemented, as already agreed to, and I still think that the financial gap in the WCC rewards must be decreased a bit, while the engine loyalty bonus should be looked over.

Finally the break is over, and the series became alive, so hopefully in Canada, thats a best chance to get our cars there.
One question guys: Is it possible to become manager in two series of F1 and GP2?

Pay drivers are being implemented, currently scouting so 'suitable' candidates for those roles ;)

WCC rewards are also being reworked.

Afraid not. It's either one or the other.

Also heard nothing from either Dan, who's inbox is full *hint* *hint* *wink*wink*, or Seb which is worrying.

I'll give both another 24 hours to respond, if they don't both Williams and Super Aguri will go managerless in Canada before we move down the waiting list after the race is done if they still haven't got in touch.

Does this mean I can't plan with the values from the 1st post? I did so all the time, I might be screwed if you change them.

All I've changed is the range between what 1st receives and what 11th receives, so if anything you'll be getting more than you would at the moment.

Also team rankings have now been submitted, apart for Ferrari as Maikels inbox is also full ;), let me know of any errors as there's bound to be one or two in there.

Now THAT is what I call instant karma. Jack's inbox is full ;) ;) ;)

Sorry for not answering earlier, I was incredibly busy the last few days, has been holding me from doing really anything. I'd like to pick Super Aguri.

Doh! So it is ;)

Sorted that now aha. Thanks for getting back to me Seb, welcome to the F1 Grid! I'll wait and see what Dan's wants to do first before sending you your team rankings however.

This does mean that we now have a vacancy at DAMs in GP2 for any new comers who might be interested :)

What about old participants who might be interested in changing teams?

Well seeing as we allow the the F1 Managers to switch alliances I see no reason why GP2 managers cannot do the same :)

However, in the interest of fairness, I'll give all the GP2 managers until tomorrow to put themselves forward to manage DAMs as well.

no problem by me, and as expected I put myself as one of the candidates
Good to see this is back up and standing strong again!
Trident Racing

We've sent our strategy for Canada, hopefully we can aim some good results.

I'd bet that Dan wants a F1 team, maybe create a thread telling him to empty his inbox ;)

Super Nova is ready to fight for the championship

So the deadline for switching teams has now passed so Seb is now confirmed as the new manager of Super Aguri, whilst Gio is now manager of DAMs in GP2. I'll get yous guys' team rankings sent out shortly along with Maikel's (Y)
