Just letting everyone know that qualifying has been run, and we have our pole sitter for the race. Coverage should hopefully be up soon.

GPG Nations Cup Rd 2 Italian GP – Qualifying

Hello and welcome to Vallelunga, the venue for Rd 2 of the Nations Cup Italian GP. Last time out at Hockenheim, we saw Germany take victory. But due to them not taking their second stop, they were handed a time penalty which was added onto their time, and as a result it dropped them down to 2nd and gave China the victory. What will happen this time around? We’ll just have to wait and see. Anyways, let’s see how qualifying has turned out.

There we have it. Congratulations Team China and their driver Cheng Tung, our pole sitter for the Italian GP. Will they be able to convert pole into a race win? We’ll just have to wait and see. Well then, we’ll see you back here tomorrow when we get set for the race.

GPG Nations Cup - Rd 2 Official Qualifying Results

Team China

Oh yeah! Pole position! This season is starting off really good for Team China. Hopefully Cheng can get a good start, take the lead and control the race from there. If we're lucky enough, we might even get the victory. But there is plenty of challenges that I'm sure will be thrown our way, so all I can hope for is that Cheng stays out of trouble all race.

Massive shame for us today, we were looking for a better result than 17th for sure. Not too sure about the race, we'll be looking to beat those around us again, but progress may be tricky.
Team Canada press release :

Superb work by our driver, that bad driver Brière guy. We guess he may have taken some drugs or something, but we just cannot confirm yet. As a matter of fact, his 1'10.715 means a lot to him because he's actually born on July 15th (7/15)
Not bad, not bad

My GPGSL Career
Team NZ
Not surprised to be so far down, we're expecting a tough day in the race but will do out best to hang in there and hopefully sneak some points.
Happy with 6th, but I hope we can gain some places in the race.

TEAM UAE

Happy with 8th, hopefully a clean race and can move up the grid like the last race.
10th with no boost - sweet! :)

13th, not really good. Kinda to be expected not using any boost! We'll let's see whether we can drive towards the points in the race! :)

South Korea

4th is a great position, if we are able to gain some places right from the start we'll be fighting for the win
Team Japan are delighted with 12th. Ihara has been told to drive with pace, but not over-push the car. A finish is required
