@Maikel: I slightly scaled your rear tyre shape, so that it doesn't hover over the ground. Hope you don't mind that, as I'd prefer using your shapes instead of the ones of the 02/03 CART mod.

I like the Continental tyre, especially the one with the original letters

Continental will most likely be the ones with the alternative font, as that seems to be the common way it's done on their racing tyres.

Round 9 Activity Check

Three players were inactive for the period over which Round 9 was held:

willward(Sweden) - 2nd warning
smoglessbutton4(Switzerland) - 1st warning
gareth(New Zealand) - 1st warning

1st warning - 50 race/quali penalty
2nd warning - 100 race/quali penalty
3rd warning - 250 race/quali penalty + possible kick out

All penalties shall be applied in round 10. Appeals should be sent to natasp and/or posted on this thread for notification.

GPG Nations Cup Round 10 - American GP - Indianapolis

The performance deadline for Round 10 at Indianapolis is the end of tuesday 17th february. Everyone is to send their performance request to the GPG-Nations-Cup account, or here if you want an extra shortcut. Please set the subject title of your message as "Round 10 - USA - (Your Country Name)". In your message please state explicitly how much you allocate for Qualifying and how much you allocate for the Race (e.g. Qualifying: 500, Race: 500). If you submit one number, qualifying and race performance will be exactly half of that value.

Nice. Still, it's not a sure thing Serbia will be taking part yet. That will depend on whether or not a few teams decide to pull out or are forced to pull out due to inactivity. And something to consider for the livery: try making the sponsor on the nose smaller so that you can put on your team's engine supplier and tyre supplier, as well as the number your team will be using. And it's hard to see on the preview, but the number also needs to go on the rear wing. If you ask a few of the members who are good at painting cars, they might be able to help you out.

I'm planning on setting up a render scene for doing renders of the Season 5 cars, so for those who would like a render of their car, please send me a Hi TXT file of the livery once it's 100% finished.

If you check the other liveries out, you'll see that most of them have the engine and tyre suppliers logo on the car. The only thing that is mandatory is to have the name of the nation on the back of the rear wing.

Engine & tyre supplier should both be on the livery, as Greg pointed out. Numbers should also be on the car, normally nose and rearwing endplate. The sidepod winglet should also do instead of the endplate. Rearwing should have the country name, at least on the back side. Livery could use some improvements, i.e. not using the different mapping parts to separate colors. Imo that doesn't look that good. Also, I want the psd files


@Greg: make sure to use the z3d file I posted a bit further up, the one with Maikel's tyre shapes
