Still didn't get an answer by schifty about the progress on his files. As I don't want to wait ages, prepare for the boost window to be opened probably tomorrow, time to get the season started.

Good to hear the season will be starting soon. I hope the track settings will be correct once everything is ready. As I've been given the RD duties for Rd 1, I'll need to be able to download the correct version of the track being used. I'm also going to need the tables template for GPG Nations Cup so I can do the tables.

Sounds very good :)

Why Bulgaria is 5th on boost budget? We were 3rd in final standings in season 3?

It might be based on results from all the seasons, if I remember correctly there was a championship list compiled with standings covering all the races.

Read the rules ;)

Quote

-At the end of the season the position in the championship you finish comes with a point’s reward that carries over. This will be altered as seasons pass to help newbies
These points are added on the the performance budget total for each manager. For example, season 1 finish = 1st, season 2 budget = 8600.
Points Stay with that manager, so if said manager chooses to change nation, the points gained still remain.
-If a participant leaves, they keep their current boost amount. If they are kicked/disappear, they get reset to 0.

It is as follows:

1 = 100
2 = 85
3 = 75
4 = 67
5 = 60
6 = 54
7 = 49
8 = 45
9 = 41
10 = 37
11 = 33
12 = 29
13 = 26
14 = 23
15 = 20
16 = 18
17 = 16
18 = 14
19 = 13
20 = 12
21 = 11
22 = 10

I don't think it has yet.

It's starting in this GP, everyone has to post something until the next boost announcement

About that, are team owners in the waiting list required to post? I couldn't find something clear in the rules, and there had been some problems with "ghost owners" in the GPGSL, so I wanted to make sure everything's OK. I check the thread regularly, I just want to know if I'm attained to that rule. :-)

Imo you don't have to be active as long as you're still on the waiting list. Just make sure that you have your livery done once there's a vacancy ;-)

I guess my boost is 0 right ?

Your extra boost based on previous seasons' results is 0, but you still have the 8500 boost points that everyone has.
You can spend a maximum of 500 points for each quali and race per GP (ie, the absolute max performance is 16500 for races, and 17500 for qualifying).

Nations Cup - Team Scotland manager
Ok, so 500 qual it is then :)
Oh well, no boost for France at the opening round!!! 3 days ONLY from boost announcement to deadline seemed a little short notice to me... oh well! My opinion, every boost announcement should allow at least Saturday and Sundays to provide people with limited time, a chance to see these threads over the weekend - so, make deadlines be a Monday for example, giving perhaps a full week from posting the boost announcement, to the deadline.

GPGSL Team Owner Debut - Melbourne, Season 8 - present
GPGSL Test Debut - Hungary, Season 4. GPGSL Race Debut - Adelaide, Season 5.
